Street food and traditions to treasure, eating and drinking well, are at the core of our project. Pettolino is a quality brand, a brand made in Italy. Pettola or fried dough, is a simple tasty and flexible product, always the protagonist of the Mediterran
Not many places open on Maters this time of year, so we booked online and it was all fine. Nice place, not very busy, but had a few family groups. Nice 'Pettolino' starter comes free, and then we had the cassette of 4 starters. Followed by generous serves of pork shank and slow cooked pork. Wine by the bottle was good value. Our waiter was great and happy to explain the fully Italian menu. Would return.

This restaurant was attached to a hotel and had a wonderful airy cave setting together with attentive efficient service. It was fairly empty and deserves more customer. The prices were higher than we have been paying but the menu was different from normal fare and beautifully prepared cooked and presented and suited us as the portions were not large. A true refuge from the tourist bustle in the very heart of the Sassi. Highly recommend

The Impasse Salsamenteria wears a new style while maintaining its uniqueness. The crown jewel in the historic town of Matera Sassi since 1999. Its retro style is what has always characterized. The vintage furniture is studied in detail and the search for
I'm an American journalist and movie reviewer. I went to this restaurant to interview the owner Nando Irene, a noted Italian actor. Upon our arrival, my photographer and I were greeted with the famous Lucano hospitality and of course, regional delicacies.. peperoni cruschi and Aglianico wine.. a little piece of heaven. Nando and his entire staff were extremely attentive to anything we needed. The ambience of the restaurant is warm and unique, and reminded me a bit of home with the American retro furniture and soulful music blaring from the jukebox. I highly recommend this locale. It's a must-visit when in Matera!

The place is adorable, the view of the hill sitting outside is incredible, the food was spectacular, with an extensive variety of regional dishes. Reasonably priced and good portions. Friendly staff. We were celebrating a birthday and they helped us get a cake from a local pastry shop. It was fantastic, I strongly recommend it! Also strongly recommend the burrata dish and the lamb!

The location is very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Generally this place would be great for a glass of wine but donât go there for dinner. The food is simply mediocre and overpriced for the size of portions. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh but unfortunately everything is ruined by the chefâs «creativityâ. One of the worst meals Iâve had in Italy over the last few years. I honestly donât know where all the raving reviews come from. Probably from people who normally eat at McDonaldâs. Thanks a lot for saying it Vis a vis.De gustibus no dispuntadum est.

Homemade pasta laboratory-shop combined with the restaurant. We sell fresh pasta during the day. At lunch or dinner, you could choose the pasta that you prefer, and we can also cook it for you with special and seasonal gravy. There are also some appetizer
This small pasta shop/restaurant called Kapunto had some really tasty dishes for fair prices and we really enjoyed our lunch there

Crusco's is the first Streetfood and Dockfood franchising in Italy and in the world. The Matera point is a real highlight in Basilicata cuisine, two minutes walk from the city center. You can enjoy our PEPERI (sandwiches), the Crusco's burger and the spec
Delicious! I just popped in for a quick bite to eat. 2 enthusiastic young men behind the counter, both very helpful. Simple concise menu. Spotlessly clean throughout. Reasonably priced. Quick service. REALLY TASTY. Will return.
