In my opinion it is something of a myth that one eats well wherever one goes in the Bel Paese. But then, when you hit it right, it will be right.This was one of them. Well, it could not have been otherwise as we were taken there by friends who live in the vicinity and certainly know their food.Everything was excellent, and we had something like five courses. Renowned mainly for its meat, it certainly lived up to its reputation. Very friendly owner.And very good value. Was visited by friends of mine who were on a five day trip in the region a week after I ate there and they said it was the best meal of their trip.

I had a terrible experience in this restaurant. I came with friends of mine to celebrate a birthday. The location is quite good, with a good atmosphere but we got always the same kind of meat (only beef, chicken/sausages were finish) and to be honest the quality was not good enough. Too many chips and only a few starters.We paid 20 euros each with drink, coffe and liqueur included. In conclusion I will not recommended this restaurant, at least during a weekend's dinner.

A great place with tastefully decorated rooms. The food was absolutely awesome. A group of pleasant young enthusiastic people preparing the food and serving the clients. Unfortunately, we have to agree with the reviews below that the portions are way too big for an average person. Even two people are struggling to consume one single dish. Should this issue be resolved, we'd visit the place over and over again without hesitation - we loved the food that much.

If you are in Mantua, you must go to Roncoferraro is just 20 minutes by car from Mantua and you must visit this place. He really is the king of pork! It is the excellence about pork from this area of Italy. Many of the products are home-made and the quality of the wine is excellence. The service is friendly and they explain you all their food. You must try for sure this place!

You cant go to this place if you are not going to try their fantastic steaks, fiorentine and mixed grilled meats... The place is kinda particular and you need to see it. The food is good and its not too expensive! They have also a good selection of wine!
