One of those restaurants off the beaten track that you would never know is there unless someone told you about it and full of locals. Food is exceptional, big portions but not too big and excellent quality. The veal in particular is excellent! Staff are nice and friendly and the decor is traditionally Spanish. Prices are really reasonable as well.

If you like pie and chips (or frozen brake Brothers style meals) with orange people go into the town and eat at bamboo.For a slice of real Spanish food with no frills on the beach come here itâs simple but itâs fresh, delicious and amazing value.The servers are busy but friendly and accommodating. Youâll sit with local families, their dogs occasionally and once a brace of horses!You canât knock the quality of the wood barbecued good. Had dinner there last night. Fantastic fresh seafood, generous portions and very good value. English menu translation is pure comedy - but somehow it's all the better for it. Heavily used by the locals - get there after 9.30 for dinner and you'll be queuing.

Our family of four had dinner here twice. All the meals were well prepared and homemade. The ribs are fantastic and they also have vegetarian options. The salmon with pink pebbersauce is savoury. The service is very good and attentative. Very reasonable prices. big portions. Dinner for four with drinks amounts to 65-70 euros.

This was our fourth visit to this chiringuito and we have say the last two visits had been a little disappointing. However we thought we would give it one more chance and took our son, daughter in law and their 7 month old baby, who were staying with us.The welcome as usual was warm and enthusiastic, especially towards the baby, ( The Spanish love children). Despite seeing that we had the child and ended to settle him, the main waiter, Pepe, came up to take our order, when we hadn't even looked at the menu. We asked for 5 minutes, but he was back again in no time and we felt rushed, although the restaurant was not busy.The food duly came, but not altogether and our son had nearly finished his before the remaining food arrived. My Merluza, hake, was supposed to have been boned, but was full of bones,with the fish overcooked and mushy. My son had white prawns, 16 medium sized, with no garnish at a cost of 18 euros, which was extremely expensive. These prawns are readily served as tapas at no cost in many of the bars locally!My wife had 5 small red mullet which were very nice and my daughter-in-law had sea bream which was very good. The chips were packet and pretty tasteless.The bill came to over 80 euros, for just 4 meals without wine and no starter or main course. We were also charged for 5 small beers when we only had 4.A really disappointing and rushed meal, we don't think we we will be going again.

Found Las Chinas on Friday evening had a awesome meal there. Sat outside in the warm evening sunshine. Top notch service especially from Eloy; sumptuous food to boot. Advocado and prawns to for(good portion). Mains were just as good and local wine at a reasonable priceâ¬12. Returned on Sunday at lunch couldn't resist the prawns and advocado again plus squid. Equally as good as Friday evening and were great warmly by Eloy again. Will definitely recommend. Enjoy!Thank you very much for your comments

We went for lunch at El Velero del Sur in El Morche which is on the promenade with views of the beach and the sea.We started with aguacate con gambas â¬8 to share, and we both chose the seafood paella â¬11 per person. The avocado prawns was excellent, but the paella was truly superb - freshly cooked and with generous prawns, crayfish, langostinos, mussels, clams, fish etc. We had a bottle of Ramon Bilbao Rioja red wine â¬16.The service by the waiters was faultless. The food, the service and the view made the lunch a most enjoyable experience. Excellent value for such quality.

Had a lovely afternoon meal here with friends . the fish was superb. Rosada, Puntilla's etc and the staff were very good. sat on the beach which was great. The waiter used to work in mariposa in Nerjs . helpful as usual.
