We stumbled upon this restaurant while driving on the highway. Normally, we don't risk eating in a 'truck stop' but this was very, very different. Lots of local families gathering for a weekend lunch means that the place must serve good food. And it does! Great steaks, lovely patatas, extremely good grilled vegetables. What we also liked a lot was that they have a decent choice in smaller bottles of wine. That's good thinking if you're so close to the road! We had to wait a while for a table and for the food, but the service was with a smile. Made us feel very comfortable!Thank you for your comments and for your visit. We visited Rincon la Frontera April 2017 and wanted to eat tapas. This small place was quit because of football match but we went in and enjoyed it very much. Delicious tapas and great service. Would recommend this although its the street behind the beach you need to find it.

We went there twice, as we were renting in the vicinity. We had fish, which was very good, but what we found truly exceptional were the meats: a lamb brochette and a cerdo iberico sirloin. Crusty, juicy, with all the flavour expertly sealed within the flesh. Now, Rincon de la Victoria is not a holiday town for foreigners and we found some other restaurants in that area somewhat lacking in the service department. La Carreta has very kind and helpful waiters, the menu is available in English.Dear customer, thanks for your lovely feedback!We have the wish to offer our best service to foreign people, because for us is a important part of our business. We like when you enjoy of atmosphere and food and linked with a stay in Malaga.Thanks again, best regards.

A unique restaurant full of character warmth and surprises wich mixes modern and traditional cooking. Situated in a spectacular surroundings with marvellous views. A place not to be missed.

Given the fact that I have very high standards regarding cuisine, I have to say this place is pretty darn good. Nowhere in Rincon or La Cala del Moral will you find anything as equally trendy, high quality, and with a sophisticated ambiance like this place.The bar downstairs is great for a pre or post drink, but the restaurant is the winner. Love the fusion food (think Tuna tataki, fish and chips with a Spanish touch, etc.), and the service is also pretty nice. Highly recommendable.
