We found this restaurant 8 years ago & were delighted to discover that its still there, unlike many others in Coin. No English spoken, but with the help of my translating app & a lot of sign language, the owner & I managed to have a great conversation & our personally cooked, authentic, locally-sourced lunch turned out to be truly delicious. Braised lettuce, a tasty artichoke platter plus 3 different little croquettes really did the trick. My only suggestion was that there should be a menu in English, & my new friend agreed & seemed to intimate that there's one in development. Muchas gracias por su comentario.Nos es muy grato ver que volvéis a los 8 años a Coìn y que nos visitasteis de nuevo.Por cierto la carta en ingles ya es una realidad

Friends recommended this venta, so we were taken for lunch on Sunday. As there was no menu del dia on a Sunday we had to have a la carte. The fish was excellent although rather too much oil and for 14 euros we would have expected potatoes AND salad not either or.The salad was just lettuce and a slice of tomato and covered in oil as were the chips. The dessert selection was uninspiring as is in most spanish restaurants. The service though was excellent. The menu del dia we asked about is 9 euros and includes a drink and bread, so that should be better value.A bit disappointed but as we did not pay, not overly concerned.

After watching the De Los Reyes parade on Saturday 5th January four of us went to Las Anforas. Very warm welcome from the proprietor. A lovely old traditional restaurant with lots of atmosphere. The food was excellent, the pork knuckle was wonderful, the service of high standard. We will certainly return.

The outside seating round the corner along the road is nothing to talk about. But when the weather is good for inside seating, it is a cozy place with splendid food. Very attentive and helpful service.Style, as to be expected, is Spanish, traditional. This is a place worthwhile to drive a few kilometer to get there.

Very unexpected. A charming place, bigger than it first appeared. The theme seems to be American Rock & Roll but the menu is pure Spanish. The tapas are beautifully presented. The dishes are unusual. Even traditional dishes like Patatas Bravas are a surprise here. Service was welcoming, gracious, and friendly. Worth a return visit.

At the end of a harrowing journey over winding mountain roads from Ronda, my wife and I happened upon this Restaurante and were delighted by both the quality of its food and especially the warmth of its welcome. In need of a place to stay and not fluent in Spanish, we turned to the owner for assistance and she was most helpful. Definitely above and beyond what you would normally expect.

We had been recommended this restaurant by our Hotel and it did not disappoint. We arrived just as it was opening and therefore empty, but before the kitchen was open. Just as well, because by 8.00pm every table was taken and as we spent the entire evening there we could see just how popular this place is with the locals - did not hear any one speaking english. Luckily our spanish just about gets us by in a restaurant!Food was very tasty, lot's of dishes we had not tried before and very well priced, Portion sizes are small - a couple of bites each but that is how we like it so a steady stream of tasty bits, plenty of wine and a lovely way to spend an evening.Hope to be passing through Coin again sometime and another visit to Coconut will be on the cards.

This is not the smartest restaurant you will find but here's a good testament, go there in summer without booking you may not find a seat or at least a unused table. The food is excellent the prices brilliant. Scenery non existent it's selling point is it's food it's prices and it full of Spanish every day. I go there for meetings is brilliant. Go visit you won't be disappointed

We visited this restaurant on a rainy day trip ... so glad we did!! Lovely welcoming staff, nothing was too much trouble. The children were offered a menu del dia to share and were given the choice of anything off the menu. Delicious paella, lovely home cooked stew and barbq meats. We were told all the deserts were homemade by Pepe the owners father. We had delicious chocolate mousse and cheesecake. Highly recommended and only 10 euros!!

Been here 3 times the last three years and the food has been great every time. Thereâs always a lot of people there so might be good to book a table in advance. They have a really good Sangria as well. Gracias por contar con nosotros, su satisfaccion es nuestra satisfaccion, esperamos verles pronto de vuelta por esta su casa. Un saludo
