Don't be put off by the location on a street corner...the chef knows his business. Whole squid charcoal roasted to perfection, Ox steaks, plume of park, yum yum!!!.....No frills, just let the food speak for itself , cheap eats as well as the more adventurous. Hint, choose the whitebait as a starter!!! Spanish food , simple , but well cooked and presented . We went back several times... and will again,

We celebrated a birthday here with exquisite food, great combinations and flavours. Service attentive but discrete. We had the 15 tasting menu with matched wine. Wine was excellent with a couple of really specials. Thereâs also an a la carte. Expensive but good for a special occasion.
We stopped by here by chance to have a beer on a warm afternoon. The place is full of Spanish locals and not a tourist to be seen. In spite of not being able to speak Spanish, we were made to feel very welcome and decided that we would go back the following evening for dinner. We were not disappointed. As is often the case in Spain, food is not served until later. In this case itâs 20:30. As we had asked the landlady the previous day when food was served, she remembered us and kindly brought a menu at the appropriate time. The menu also had an English translation. We opted for half portions of pork in a tomato gravy, Hake and a pork brochette. It was amazing and incredibly tasty. It was also excellent value for money. This is not a âfancyâ establishment, but provides good, honest and authentic Spanish food in friendly family environment that is full of local characters. The views from the terrace over the mountains in the distance only make this an even better place to eat and drink. We highly recommend coming here, and will definitely be back next year..

Establishment located in the heart of the historic quarter of Ronda . Restaurant with a welcoming interior and a terrace on pedestrian street . Cuisine prepared with fresh products and of the highest quality with a touch of air-garde . The service with go
The terrific reviews that this place gets are 100% justified. A small restaurant but with an additional terrace so booking is essential. Both the food and service are outstanding. A brilliant night out down to Maria's cooking and super friendly service from the two Antonio's. Advice on food and drink is spot on and you instantly feel welcomed and relaxed. They serve a superb cheesecake as a free dessert along with tuition ice cream that finished off your meal in style. We had pil pil cod and pork cheeks as mains and they were excellent. Don't miss this place if you want a special meal in Ronda!

A beautiful winery in the hills outside Ronda. Gemma was a wonderful host and provided an informative tour followed by a tasting and tapas. Wines were very good especially the rose and the double doce. Tapas simple but delicious. Wished we'd stayed for a full lunch.

I think being new to the Tapas system did not help us but the bartender was helpful and the food was tasty. Our favourite dishes were crispy chicken Caesar salad, mini burger- delicious, smoked salmon/avocado on bread. We would come back. Local atmosphere. :).

Tropicana Cafe Taberna will find a pleasant and modern space to make your visit an experience excellent.En this new stage reborn Tropicana Cafe Taberna dedicated to good food and principles that we consider fundamental: excellent grilled meats cooked with
I understand why this place is number 1 in Ronda: the service is impeccable, very quick and courteous, and charisma of José Antonio makes this restaurant really worth visiting although it's a rather long walk from the historical center of Ronda. But in spite of this I don't think that I would become a regular customer here. There are several issues that I didn't like: the place is to small, there is too little space between tables, the chairs are too hard, without any upholstery. Maybe it's part of the design and general concept as this place is positioned as a 'tavern'. But I prefer something more comfortable. As for the food - unfortunately main part of the menu was not to our taste. I don't like sushi and seviche (as long as carpaccio - nothing raw, please) and hamburgers. Besides both me and my mother are allergic to red tuna. So we've taken ox-tail starter and lamb as a main dish. Both were fine, but the lamb was a little too dry to my taste. We always take tea after meal and I was very disappointed to see a plain Lipton served in a place known for its cuisine. Other disappointment was when it occurred that several desserts mentioned in the menu were not available, including the one with pears that I wanted to try. For a Saturday night and a place where you need to make a reservation in advance to get a table it's a huge minus. How can there be lack of desserts if you know that the place is fully booked? Yes, the chestnuts puree was quite nice but little disappointment was still there.Hello, good day, thanks for your words to our food and service. To say that I don't understand your words about sushi or ceviche, we don't have those dishes here. Decoration is something that some people like more and others less. Next year we will launch a great restaurant in the center and well, it will be bigger and more comfortable now that we are in this one that we are over 30 years old and we do not force anyone to stay. More than 2500 people rate us as excellent in more than 5 gastronomic guides for something that will be. As for tea and dessert, tell him that tea is a normal tea of ââgood quality and that we no longer have a great demand for tea, we are not asked for more, and dessert will explain it to him but I see he did not understand, we have 4 desserts, only 1 that is summer season was missing, and summer is over. How can we have it in autumn if it is seasonal? Thanks again for your visit. Good trip. Receive a cordial greeting.TROPICANA

Arriate is a terrific village with so much going on there. This is one of the better places to spend some time.Dropped by at 8pm on a Wednesday to book a table, which seemed pointless given how quiet it was. Went for a drink at a nearby bar (2 x wines, 2 x beers for 4 euros!).Returned to the deserted bar at 9pm and by ten past the place was jumping. We ordered all sorts of stuff from the menu and just waited for it to arrive. We settled in and just enjoyed the lovely atmosphere of a community obviously at ease with it self. A whole mix from some mature ladies having a chat to the local football club holding a meeting. We enjoyed everything we had to eat and drink and left feeling full and a little tipsy after three bottles of wine, all for 64 euros. Everywhere around here feels like great value actually and we can't wait to come backWe managed to sing Happy Birthday and buy a club polo shirt and felt like we left as old friends.Arriate we salute you and thank you for your friendliness and hospitality.

Restaurant "El Muelle de Arriate" is located in the trainstation of Arriate, one of the White Villages close to Ronda.A tapas restaurant with quite a range of tapas and plates. As we work with fresh ingredients many times we also offer a new "invention" w
We were staying nearby and came across this place on the internet, what a find, firstly we were lucky to get a table as was fully booked but the owner kindly squeezed us in. Service is second to none, dishes described and recommendations made and each dish we had was delicious and very well presented. Would highly recommend.
Spanish food paired with our domestic wines. Tradition and fusion come together in the street Comandante Salvador Carrasco in Ronda.
Was recommended to go here - couldnât fault the food and great busy atmosphere Full of locals - very helpful staff that translated the menu and helped with choices. Enjoyed fresh tuna with garlic potatoes. Would defo return if in the area. Sat inside as outside tables all taken but wasnât too warm. Kids enjoyed it too sitting on high stools. Mixed desserts was a must too!
