We went on a Thursday night an the restaurant was a bit empty,so not great atmosphere.Apparantly, they are queueing out of the door at weekends. We opted for Raciones... it proved to be a great choice. Portions are quite generous,so we ordered 3 raciones , a big normal salad & a plate of chips. Great chips. My friend wanted fried prawns...to be honest I didn't really want fried prawns as other fish would be fried, but i am so glad we had them..they were sweet and succulent and just lightly dusted with flour .Fantastic, We also had some gallo and calamares. It was all excellent and fresh and cooked to perfection.Nothing was greasy and the oil it was cooked in was clean & that makes such a difference.Service was friendly and helpful and the bill worked out at about 15 euros each with tip.Definitely going back.

We stumbled across this wonderful Beach Restaurant- we were greeted warmly and seated. Excellent wine choice and good menu. My husband had the fillet steak, it was cooked medium rare to perfection and the Chicken ceaser salad was plentiful and very tasty. It is a relaxed environment, so sit back and take in the views. Very reasonably priced at around 55⬠for lunch. Worth a visit!

Nice views of the port from the terrace. We had lunch from the tapas menu. Morrocan chicken, prawn springroll, seafood salad and a miniburger. All tasty. The service was good and the staff friendly. A good place for a relaxed lunch.

.When you actually find this restaurant, you will not be impressed either by its surroundings or its outside. But you come in to a goodish sized bar and restaurant, tables a bit squashed together, but that is because it is extremely popular with locals.Get there early by Spanish standards - 1.30 at the latest - because they don't take reservations and it fills up,Fills up completely! What they have depends on what came in fresh that morning. Small fish, big fish to share, enormous fish for a whole table. There won't actually be a list of stuff - just look in the fridge display unit on the left as you come in.And point!(Unless your Spanish and knowledge of local fish names are both very good). :-)It will be good stuff. The puddings are less so, but that's always to be expected. â¬30 a head eating loads. You won't want supper this evening . . ..

We ate dinner there last night. We both ordered jumbo prawns. Each platter came with at least a dozen very large shrimp. They were cooked in salt and olive oil. They were messy to peel, but the taste was worth it. The meal only cost 10 euros. This is a very popular restaurant. So it was crowded. The only downside was the wine. Neither the red nor the white wine was very good.

I have been to the La Vista Beach several times. The food, drinks and service are always excellent. I especially love the tuna tatar and the beef filet. The atmosphere and the view of Gibraltar are magical. The interior design phantastic! Thanks to Isabel and her team for wonderful evenings!
