Cortijo de Cortes is styled in an authentic Spanish court with live entertainment, including traditional singers, a show "bull fight" (using a calf), a horse show and a Flamenco performance. While the entertainment is amazing and the service very friendly and efficient, the food is mediocre. It's the perfect place to spend an evening of traditional Spanish entertainment and the only explanation I have for the lack of reviews for this place is that it's not easy to find, but absolutely worth the trip!
Recently opened restaurant also with outdoor tables, in the lovely town of Benahavis, a short drive from Marbella. The food, without exception was wonderful. The menu is a mix of innovative dishes and traditional roast meats and fish (the kitchen has a HUGE wood oven which, it appears, is used for much of their food, the wonderful vegetables included). I can recommend absolutely everything we ordered: escalibada (a type of roasted peppers and aubergines), the green gazpacho, tuna steak, t-bone steak and a freshly caught fish (pargo). All were cooked absolutely perfectly. The side dishes were as good as the mains. The desserts also deserve a special mention...a different approach to lemon meringue pie and a gorgeous chocolate mousse - both delicious. Service was very friendly, slightly hectic at the beginning, as we were a large table and had ordered so much! However, all worked out perfectly in the end. We have booked to go back this weekend as we enjoyed it so much and want to try other items on the menu. Perfect place.

We came to this rstauarant because we'd used it on previous holidays. Benahavis has significantly expanded over the past few years and there are more restaurants and existing restaurants have expanded out onto the streets making it very much a continuous outdoor restaurant which seemed nicely busy, even in late September. However we walked past them to this restaurant which occupies the town square. We checked the menu to ensure that there was a good choice of fish dishes (there were) and were very quickly shown to a table. The service was impeccable and the staff have excellent English, I don't expect this but it does make things easier when asking about the various dishes. The wine list was especially good, there 16 different options on Ribero del Duero alone, but I was driving so couldn't indulge. The order was taken quickly and a complimentary pate and mebrillo was served within minutes. It's worth remembering when this happens as you really don't need a starter as well.I had grilled lemon sole for my main course which was excellent and my request to swap the standard boiled potatoes and cooked vegetables for chips and a salad was done without an issue. The bread was particularly good, obviously freshly baked and better than most I had elsewhere. We wanted to take other friends to Benahavis later in the week and despite the temptation to try one of the many other restaurants we were very content to return here and had another very good meal,

We have been coming to this place for over 20 years and have seen owners come and go. This latest visit was as enjoyable as ever and the current hosts really friendly; we had a great time there. There was a big group of us who sat out in the courtyard which is lovely. The service is quick, efficient and friendly and the complimentary nibbles much appreciated. There is a great range of drinks and the prices are very reasonable indeed. Most importantly the beer is very cold! The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed and hopefully we will be visiting here for many years to come.

We would just like to thank all our customers old and new for their custom this year. Its been a pleasure looking after you all. We are taking a well earned rest and we look forward to seeing you all again in March.
This restaurant has a great location situated in the nice square at one end of the busy Benahavis ''foodie'' street - also seemed to be very popular for breakfasts. It seems to be run by an English family who were fussing about making everybody welcome, however, the food compared to other restaurants in the area was not as upto standard...

Since 2004, the All in 1 Café Bar and Restaurant has been known for its amazing food and warm and lively atmosphere. Fully refurbished in 2016, the venue is now probably the most popular in the area - especially amongst the local expat community and holid
The pizza margarita was good, the truffle spaghetti also but unfortunately too much oil :/ the noddles soup was really not tasty, the chicken inside not enough cooked, and the flavour of the powder they put inside very weird. And the service was quit long and not so busy

Very welcoming restaurant with a nice atmosphere and an open flame grill where aged meat is cooked to perfection. You will also find great dishes from the sea side, a beautiful selection of wine and one of the best terrace in the heart of Benahavis.
Looked an interesting place for drinks sitting outside round barrels as tables and high stools.Ordered drinks but waitress not particularly friendly and the waiter as very off hand.Had only one drink as the diners were turning up to eat and we were forgotten about.

We were really looking forward to stopping here for Tapas and drinks but on arrival we were advised they no longer do Tapas. We took a seat on the veranda but were asked to move to another area if we were not eating. The owner was quite pushy for us to eat so we felt quite unwelcome if we were just stopping for drinks. We did have a lovely glass of wine and the menu sounded great but we decided not to eat there based on our experience.Dear BekandBillI apologize profusely for our change in direction, we were sampling a new menu over the quiet season to watch itâs reception. Not only a new menu but different restaurant format. As you can imagine we are now serving our tapas again, itâs back by extremely popular demand and served in a casual dining setting. I hope you can give us a chance to correct our first experience and return to try our freshly prepared tapas.Yours sincerely Jessica
