Walking through Ronda looking for a decent, authentic and affordable Andalusian meal is a crapshoot, but luckily we found Bodega San Francisco. The food was delicious, the portions were generous and the staff are attentive. The grilled prawn skewers are wonderful, the ensaladilla is rich and creamy (and enormous!) and the caramel flan is peeferion. Came out to less than â¬20 per person.

I think this place is good start to get to know what kind of tapas are the one that local eat. Really good, yet basic staff is served in this restaurant. Close to all main spots, so location is perfect.

Was lucky as visited when really helpful English guy was working. Tasted all the tapas I could imagine, drank 1 manzanilla sherry and 2 glasses of the most excellent Ronda red.Great and friendly service too.All for 18 euros.

This was our choice for lunch after visiting the nearby Cueva del Gato. Plenty of parking for this popular restaurant. Get ther early to be seated as it is very well patronized by locals and tourists on walking holidays. It caters for groups of walkers as well. There is a very varied Menú del DÃa at 7⬠per head with starter, main course and dessert including bread and a drink.....Clean and friendly. Food was well prepared and good portions.Outside there are public toilets which also have a shower for those tired walkers to avail themselves of if required!!!I would definitely return for another meal with my family. The food is typical Spanish home cooking with something for every taste.
Spanish food paired with our domestic wines. Tradition and fusion come together in the street Comandante Salvador Carrasco in Ronda.
Was recommended to go here - couldnât fault the food and great busy atmosphere Full of locals - very helpful staff that translated the menu and helped with choices. Enjoyed fresh tuna with garlic potatoes. Would defo return if in the area. Sat inside as outside tables all taken but wasnât too warm. Kids enjoyed it too sitting on high stools. Mixed desserts was a must too!
Visited Benaojan for the first time with friends for âtheirâ friends wedding anniversary. Location superb (in hills close to Ronda & Malaga), but a âmillionâ miles from both !!. Beautiful location full of narrow streets & simple/inexpensive/super little bars & tapas. This is probably âone ofâ the best (hence wedding anniversary - size !!), but also a super location (great food & ambience) with a small group. You need to try out you (pigeon if necessary) Spanish though. Not all âEnglishâ speaking, & they appreciate your efforts.

Called in here on a recommendation.Yes, it was bunged. And for me that means it's doing something right. Staff super busy but always around in time.Great range of tapas very inexpensive we tried several random ones and all were great. And the local buzz was brilliant.Deffo, be back.

We didn't read any reviews beforehand about this place, but there was something it when you passed...Maybe not in the most quiet street of Ronda,it's right after the bridge before you walk into the old town, but the service was so friendly and efficientâ Very tasty tapas and very reasonable prices. Altogether,a great stop after you enjoyed the spectacular view from the bridge!

I think being new to the Tapas system did not help us but the bartender was helpful and the food was tasty. Our favourite dishes were crispy chicken Caesar salad, mini burger- delicious, smoked salmon/avocado on bread. We would come back. Local atmosphere. :).
