Just returned from another great visit to San Juan and of course our â Local â Rockys - Always welcoming, friendly and made feel right at home.Great to see a varied menu prepared to a high standard by Jamie and Nigel and always looked after by Luke,Beth & Will -be it happy hour,later in the evening or even the early hours of the morning. We again went along to the Sunday entertainment night, enjoyed our Sunday roast and Beef ribs - both were fantasticThanks again for looking after us and we wish you all the best for the remainder of the seasonDavefiona thank-you yet again for choosing Rockys, wouldn't like to guess how many timesYou have been out here this year but it's always lovely to welcome you back. Sunday night was a great night and the Beef Ribs went down very well. Sarah our Sunday evening singer seems to be going very well. I Must say I didn't see the Scottish flag flying at your house so I didn't know you were here. Next year I will let you fly the Scottish flag on the terrace when Scotland are playing, if they get through that is. Look forward to welcoming you back to Rockys in the near future.

After several visits to Nerja this was our first visit to this restaurant. It was lovely nice comfy relaxed seating, perfect for a lunchtime snack. The waiter was friendly and took our drinks order quickly, 4 ice cold beers. Then 19 mins later took our food order, toasted sandwiches all round and two portions of Patatas braves. All the food arrived quickly and was lovely and really well presented. Sandwiches were freshly and the the potatoes were lovely and such a different twist in how they are usually presented. We then treated ourselves to an aperol spritz, which was perfect. I totally recommend this place! Lovely spot for watching the works and listening to the sea.

Just experienced a lunch at La Piqueta after seeing some excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his food and the cocktails were divine! Being a vegetarian and Trip Advisor saying that the restaurant was Vegan friendly with vegetarian options, I was optimistic. I struggled to see any options on the menu... opting for garlic mushrooms. When it arrived, I started to eat what I thought was mushrooms topped with tomato (stupid sunglasses view) and it was actually meat!! Totally my own fault (and for not checking with the waiter first, but I was disappointed. I didnât see any other vegan options on the menu, so assumed his would be it.

Situated just back from Burriana Beach.Great place to enjoy breakfast before heading to the sands.Crossants â¬2.20, coffee â¬1.50 and several various full breakfasts for â¬5/7. Great range of cocktails available. And if your missing the footie sky sports on two giant screens.Not quite a seaview but you can hear the waves.Excellent location on a lovely beach.Recommend.And we will be back.

HI All, Stumbled upon this place one afternoon when out for a walkabout and found it to be a very nice little Tapas bar with very friendly staff. We only stayed for a short while as they were closing early that day as they have a good wine selection and were doing a wine tasting event that night so were closing at 4.30. We were going home the next night but made a point of going back the next afternoon and I had a pint and my wife had a glass of wine and we got a couple of free tapas with the drinks, I noticed people having a small beer about a third of a pint (I think) were also receiving a free tapas but hey I'm Scottish and we like a pint. Decided to get a good bottle of wine which was recommended, and a few tapas and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. The chap who I think owned the bar ( sorry didn't get his name) and the other lad who worked there seemed very friendly and were always looking to see if everyone was okay. When, not If, I go back to Nerja,I will definitely be visiting Starrs a bit more often, coz this time, just found it a "Little To Late"

This tapas bar relocated a couple of years ago is now up the Main Street from the Balcon de europa (the middle one the three). Go straight up past Sevilano tapas restaurant follow the road up to the left then up about 50 mtrs then on the left is the narrow street San Jose. It is only short walk up this street,near the top on the left. On entering you have to walk over a glass floor with a cellar below which is a small tapas bar museum. The tapas bar bar is modern and spotlessly clean. Rafa the owner has a small menu of tapas cheese and meats and also some grilled dishes. The novelty dish he is known for is charizo inferno, a sausage cooked on a pig shaped dish on your table. White spirit is lit in the bottom of the dish to cook it. His wines are very good quality and at a very good price. This is a friendly tapas bar and an experience not to be missed, it is well worth finding. It is usually opened at 19.30 hrs Monday to Saturday.

Superb selection of cold plates and some of Europe's best beers. Informal and friendly atmosphere with good attentive service. If you are lucky enough to get a spot outside, you can watch the world go by. Super find.

Revisited Pedros bar and still as chilling as all our previous visits . Mustaffas big smile greets you on the way in and Pedros friendly manner is always great .Apparantly the best Aperol spritzers in Nerja so they wife said but the beers good too .

We love this pub. Quirky decor. Cosy interior. Outside seating areas ...even wee blankies when the chilly evenings start. Owners Hannah, Ally and Bibi welcome all their customers with a smile and remember us all when we go back. Hannahâs pub grub menu hits the right spot. Burger night once a week but my fav is the chicken goujons with sweet chili sauce. Loos are worth a visit ... youâll have to go to find out why.

Vegan review: Loved this place! Sat upstairs on the terrace. We were served bread and olives and a complimentary tapas dish - mine was vegan, couscous with vegetables. I opted for the houmous and quinoa wrap with salad (could have had it with chips) and it was gorgeously soft and tasty with the addition of sweet chilli sauce. Service was excellent, staff were lovely.
