This restaurant offers traditional cuisine in a modern way. Using fresh local ingredients, meat, fish and sea food. We tasted tuna tartar, pasta and very nice meat (beef and veal) that was juicy and delicious. Nice deserts and local wine. Better to make a reservation.

Piccola taverna di campagna sopravvissuta ai tempi moderni. Posto eccezionale
In the countryside outside Macerata, a Portuguese cook and a local lady provide very good food and a warm welcome. The place is very simple, the food is great. We had baccalá appetizers and two different baccalá second courses (the baccalá, salted cod, is one of the specialities of the restaurant), the baccalá mantecato crostini and the baccalá with potatoes cooked in milk were outstanding (a tiny suggestion, if I may.. maybe a little less indulgence on the balsamic and arugula combo... the baccalá with pancetta would have been totally amazing in its simplicity), the housewine correct, the portions good, the bill quite reasonable.

A small restaurant tucked away but near the main square and the escalators up to the square. Very helpful and friendly staff and very tasty food at a reasonable price. Nice atmosphere and busy with locals. Always a good sign. We had cinghiale, wild boar, steaks, pastas etc., all very tasty over 2 visits and would readily return. Lots of local specialities at this welcoming family run business.

Vegetarian friendly place where a bit of style met a whole lot of skill! I the food was really good, the place looks awesome and they also have great wine. They speak English which helps and they are really nice! It's not expensive but it's not cheap either. Lovely with friends, even better with your partner.

In a tiny side street, the most unassuming entrance to this restaurant where, once inside you discover the vaulted ceilings of the two glorious dining rooms. The welcome was wonderful and all smiles. The menu is fabulous in its range, as is the wine list. The food was simply sensational. Beautifully prepared and presented, and served with the warmest of smiles. We thoroughly enjoyed our one dinner there, but we will most certainly return the next time in Recanati.

Went back to Mezzo Baiocco twice in one week, and both times had a great experience.Stylish traditional building in the middle of little known Campocavallo, with manicured gardens and warm interiors. Casual but refined. The first time we had a mixed grilled meat platter, cremini, and other side dishes. All cooked perfectly, matched with nice wine. The second time we had antipasti and pizzas with some friends. Didn't disappoint. And the desserts are also nice, in particular worthy of a mention the warm pistachio tart with dark chocolate and chili icecream.

A romantic place where u can spend a nice time. Meat and fish dishes.
Went on a Friday lunchtime in early February and had a very good meal. Several other tables were filled and clearly some of them were filled by regulars - unsurprising they've got regulars, given the quality of the place. The food is excellent and the wine list is extensive and equally good. The menu we had was 'menu of the day' and so not the same as the generic menu you can find online. That was a big tick for the restaurant, since it meant all the dishes included fresh ingredients that were in season. Nothing tired or unimaginative about the place at all - something that, all too often, can happen in winter months in small restaurants.Basically great service, great food, great wine and a lovely quiet atmosphere - we're going again!

Delicious food with a very friendly waitress. Bare in mind the girl is the only one whom speaks English. The 'big' menu is indeed BIG. So order this only if you have a very good appetite. The second we took the primo and the econdo and that was the right amount for us. And again: the quality was excellent!Thank you for your opinion and we hope to have you again in our restaurant.
