This agriturismo is very good for this style of eating. The food is all fresh. For this reason, no doubt, you must ring to book in advance. The enclosed outdoor area has picturesque mountain views - it is near the top of Mt Acuto. The service was friendly and welcoming and they were patient as we attempted to understand the oral menu. The lunch options were limited but this is a good sign in this style of restaurant as you know it is today's choice and therefore freshly prepared. The outside oven was busily producing fresh bread. The meals were tasty and fresh but did not have the edge of excellent cuisine. However, it was not expensive. At the end of the meal they surprised us with complimentary tastings of their own limoncello and arancello - and it was delicious! Touches like that leave us with a very good feeling about the whole experience.

If you're going along the Strada Statale 361 at mealtimes, a few kilometres outside San Severino, on the Macerata side, you'll find a frazione called Taccoli, with dozens of lorries pulled in outside a restaurant. That's Francesco's, and the lorries should tell you something - that you can be sure of getting a good meal at a good price. (A good meal for an Italian lorry driver means exactly the same as it does for anyone else in Italy - two or three courses, wine, coffee ... )Excellent fish, excellent lamb, beautiful fruit, good local wine.... Lots of local people eat there too. Air-conditioning in summer, which is a blessing. It's fairly big, but even so at mealtimes it can be very busy, so you may have to wait for a bit for a table to become free. Friendly service, by Francesco's long-serving, hard-working staff.

Pranzo espresso in questo agriturismo E devo ammettere che si mangia davvero bene e il luogo molto accogliente. Inoltre i prezzi sono modici e la simpatia del titolare e di tutto il suo staff è davvero coinvolgente

This is by far our favourite restaurant in the area. Your host Simone is a lovely lady who makes you feel so welcome.........where do I start with the food ..........the ravioli is the most amazing and people rate tithe best in the area. We recently had the T bone steak sliced off the bone with black truffle and also porcine mushrooms. Everything is fantastic the views are to die for over the rolling hills and watching the moon rise. Do miss this restaurant if you are in the area.....outstanding.

After wandering around the beautiful Marche hillside, we stopped in this cozy "agriturismo" for a couple of nights. The place is nice, recently refurbished but still keeping intact all the details of an old construction, super relaxing and with breathtaking views of the countryside. We visited neighboring towns like Tolentino, San Severino Marche, Macerata and even went outlet shopping in the area! the position of this place made it all very quick and easy. The owners are really kind and always smiling they make you feel welcome. Besides, they are great cooks! We had dinner there and loved that everything was homemade and delicious: from the pasta to the bread, the cuisine and atmosphere at this place are typical of the region. We enjoyed our stay, can't wait to go back!

ponte dei canti , San severino Marche
We had a great meal here, made very welcome by the staff. The food is typical local fare. There is no menu as the dishes change daily according to availability of produce. All freshly cooked and well presented in a sympathetic way. There is also no wine list although a range of bottles are available, but the house wine served from the barrel is fine. I would recommend this for a casual or family meal.

We turned up late one evening en familia and were seated within a couple of minutes. Stunning pasta carbonara, made from the freshest pasta ever. Beautifully crispy pizzas and tasty house wines... The finishing touch for our chocoholics was the chocolate liqueur, we loved it so much we bought a bottle home. Great service from friendly waiters. Returned twice after that and will again, grazie mille.

Italian food is generally fantastic and this restaurant is no exception ... excellent food in every way. Turned up on spec (another Agriturismo off the beaten track) and another table was set up outside for us. We ordered using pigeon Italian including house white wine which was actually petty nice here. But the best for me was the tagliata (sliced steak, their specialty) ... lovely. We would definition go back here again .... this is a more refined Agriturismo.

This is an outstanding restaurant. We enjoyed every aspect of our lunchtime dining. Having been in the area for a month we had been treated to many meat meals as that is the tradition of the area. However, it was wonderful to find a restaurant that specialises in fish. (However, there are meat dishes for those who prefer the meat.) The variety of fish choices was very good and with seven people we were able to sample quite a few and all were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the buffet of vegetables. There was quite a variety of vegetables and cooked in various ways. Everything we tried was excellent. The service was friendly and helpful and the wine very good. One of our party was very interested in the wines and after enjoying an informative discussion with our host, he was presented with a complimentary bottle of a specialty. Our whole experience was wonderful and we are only sorry that we did not find this earlier in our stay. It is slightly more expensive than the average local restaurant, but only by a couple of euros. Still excellent value.
