They brought food to everybody in different time. My friends already finished Florentine steak, while I didn't even has a primo yet. Them primo was served to everybody in different time. We end up eating from each other plates. Then we wait more then hour secondi. Chicken was bad. After all they charge as €78 for contorni ( Three tomato salads with onion and one burned grilled vegetable). Hahaha and truer to convince us that salads are €20 each. ( salads was not on menu). Then they add to the bill extra bottle of vine. It a first place where I had such a bad experience with obvious lie and horrible service. They must thinking that we are idiots if they had a gots to add €100 extra to our bill. Disappointed . Be careful in that place. Carefully order by menu only and then check your bill.

Had a dinner here with friends this week based on very high TA ranking. Food was very average: risotto bland, tuna chewy and poor quality, Chianina burger was tasty but small with very dull fries/sides. Dessert was good. Staff pleasant. Wine list OK. Expected something a little special/passionate but absolutely not!

We read about it in a guide series we had already made excellent experiences with for two other European countries. So we went there with quite some expectations. Service was okay, but we couldn't help feeling some arrogance from the owner who attended us, although he was trying to be nice. Maybe t'was just us. But my wife was driving that night and they had no non-alcoholic aperitif for her. They didn't even try to offer anything but water. The food was average but nothing like the extraordinary culinary experience the guide book had promised. My octopus for instance was close to tasteless, aside from some of the burnt parts (it came from the grill so this was no surprise). The Espresso in the end was nothing but sour and bitter. I don't want to be unfair, there were also good parts like the mango mousse (which wasn't actually a mousse but ice cream). There was nothing really bad about the dinner. But the whole package for the price of over 100 Euros for two persons was kind of a disappointment to us.

When we first cane here it was purely because it was rated as the best in Pietrasanta. Mind you, without TripAdvisor we would never known this place existed as many contributors have said, it is not easy to find and is certainly "off the beaten track". BUT, it just keeps getting better and better. The food on our recent visit can only be described as exceptional, different and priced at levels belonging to another decade. To eat an exceptional three course meal with a bottle of wine in Italy for just under 100 Euros for two is rare to say the least. Add to that charming ambiance and excellent service and that's why I still think it is the best in town

Fantastic authentic food served by a delightful local. In our case the wine and water and dessert were included in the 25 euro price. Very much worth the price! So much food, we took home a " doggie bag"

We loved this place! Service was good and the food was tip-top! We were happily surprised by the really fancy food preperation and had a very nice evening. Also the neighbouring pizza 55 is like a brother to the restaurant and serves really nice pizza. Both are worth a good visit.

Way outside of the centre of Pietrasanta we found (in the dark) this excellent restaurant. Beautiful menu with various fish and meat dishes, all cooked to perfection. The kitchen is so clean, you can eat from the floor. Great service.

This restaurant is on a corner, one side in front of a parking lot square lined with trees and the other side along a pedestrian street that leads to the main square. It is very appealing with its old bricks look. Inside it looks like a cellar, with a pleasant temperature even in hot summer nights. The menu is short for food and long for drinks. It serves the best carpaccio I have ever had.

The Ristorante-Enoteca ALEX at Marina di Pietrasanta tastefully interprets both food and hospitality while privileging new flavours; all in perfect harmony with its surroundings. A culinary oasis just a few meters from the beach, its recognised quality ha
I went to Ristorante & Enoteca Alex as I was looking for a good fish restaurant to go with my wife and Alex was recommended to us by some friends. Both my wife and I are foodies so we really pay attention to the places we go eat. The ambiance is very nice and welcoming. When we got there we were welcomed and given a table on the outside terrace as we requested when we did our reservation. We didn't have to wait too long to get our menus, water and the bread mix with an interesting anchovies' butter spread. The MENU: you can tell it is a restaurant specialized in fish but there are several options for people who look for an earthy alternative. WINE: The wine list is very thorough as the place is also an Enoteca. You can name any of the top labels and a special vintage and you most probably find it. The good thing is that if you do not want to spend too much you can find a good price/quality ratio alternative.FOOD: We started the crudo di mare (raw fish) and Shrimps in kataifi pastry on avocado cream. We both were very impressed by the fact the fish was left pretty much natural but was very tasty and balanced. Meaning this the fish was super fresh. As main we had the Spaghetti allo scoglio (spaghetti with seafood) and Ricciola di Fondale (blackfish) on a squid ink potato purée. Both mains were perfectly balanced in texture, taste, temperature and cooked to perfection. To finish sorbetto (try Melone and Peperoncino) for both and coffee.SERVICE: The service was accurate and the personnel very nice and professional in both manners and look. OVERALL: The overall experience was great. This is definitely a place we will go back to.
