I've been going in this bar for ages now and decided it was about time I praised them.It's better than home! Coffee is excellent (especially in summer time the caffè shakerato), sandwiches are delicious (try the tuna, salad, tomato). Just go! It deserves a stop!

My Italian husband grew up visiting Marina di Bibbona every August and going to Il Ghiottone for their bomboloni, cappuccino and gelato. They're simply the best! Their other pastries are divine as well. He introduced me to this gem of a place four years ago and ever since then we make every effort to return to Marina di Bibbona and Il Ghiottone. Their bombolini is, in our opinion, the best in Italy - we dream about it and look forward to it every visit! Il Ghiottone is a family-run business that, according to my husband, has remained true to their high quality pastries for years, so you get what you pay for! Your visit will leave you craving for more!

As part of a group of cyclist who visit this area annually we are always on the look out for a good cafe stop. We used this on for elevenses and had iced tea, coffee and cakes. They have a variety of infused teas and a great selection of sandwiches and cakes. It is also a working bakery and they have a outside dining area. If you are into wines they have a wide range at various prices. We have not had a meal here yet but we hope to do on our next visit as it looks so clean and the service was very friendly.
