We visited this restaurant as we were referred by the receptionist in our hotel, although the Trip Adviser comments were mixed. It was a great findWe had a lovely table on the terrace overlooking the Pedestrian Marina, we could see the sun set and also take in all the activities going on.Although they do not have an English Menu we had a fantastic waiter Daniel who painstakingly went through every details in the menu and gave us great advice on our Wine choice. The Food and the Service was excellentThe owner Marta was very attentive all evening and could not do enough for usFab evening, great food, great wine and very reasonably priced for the high standard of the food

Mariva is a relative newcomer to San Vincenzo and has upped the standard of the area. It is nestled in the woods between Villa de Stefano and San Vincenzo. One part beach club (daily entry available for private chaise "oasis" hidden among the mediterranean scrub just steps from a sandy beach.) One part restaurant/bar, providing stunning modern decor that embraces the bountiful nature of the site by using glass walls and sleek wood. There is a charming boardwalk effect outside that is perfect for a romantic stroll before or after dinner. Seating is indoor or outdoor, but one never feels closed in thanks to the restaurants large scale and generous use of glass. Food is well crafted and heavy on local seafood. The wine list is top notch and staff well informed. Our hosts, Antonino and Cristiana Tringali-Casanuova suggested Villa Matilde Falenghina white and Renzo, Bolgheri Rosso Superiore from Tringali-Casanuva.

very nice location modern and trendy furnished exactly on the beach facing the sea. very kind and polite service. very good pizza with an excellent quality ingredient. the big problem is the waiting time to eat. we waited 1 hour for the pizza. I think it is for the customers as well as for the owner's economy (few table rotation and reduced table orders due to the unnerving wait) they have to review the kitchen, the spaces and the number of employees and cooks. it is a shame this lack because the place is very nice and good pizza ....

As many other people before me testified, the sea view, especially at sunset, is spectacular. The restaurant is just a few minutesâ walk from the centre. The ambience is refined and welcoming. The quality of the food and presentation are impeccable. The price/quality as expected. The service was friendly but not particularly attentive (had to ask twice for forgotten napkin; waiters came to the table and brought various dishes but none of them noticed that the water bottles were empty etc). Still, definitely worth another visit! I would recommend highly to anybody visiting Porto San Vincenzo.

We want to enhance our local dishes by cooking each of them upon request, relying especially on seasonal produce. My nevereding will to experiment and the thrill of the creative effort, due to my artistic vein, challenge me to revisit the classic dishes o
Sometimes comming back is not the best and even as the settings, the view, interieur was great this time the food was simply not of the same standard. The taste was wasnished into odd combinations, you could not forsee and the freshnes possible with all ingredients available mashed into not good combinations. The waiters was there but not as visible or advicing as last time letting plates half eaten go out without asking us.... why ? I am sure you Can do better !Dear mr. LARS BERGOur fault... We must admit it. Reading your words we have understood. You deserved our special attention. Dishes of our restaurant have become in the last months more and more beautiful and tasty... everybody says so, but also more complex... and more in need of explanation. It is the passion and joy of our profession to always improve... But we recognize that perhaps we have not accompanied you a little while on the journey into these new dishes. We apologize ... and the only way is to greet you here again and stay with you throughout the tasting. Excuse us ... Customers like you deserve our full attention. See you soon.

We ate here for dinner a couple of nights ago and definitely enjoyed the evening. The restaurant is right on the water (you can actually hear the waves crashing), service is very attentive, white wine good (vermentino from Maremma), my primi (gnocchetti) very tasty. My partner fried mixture was good but not one of the best one I had, to be fair.Still, it makes an excellent option for a romantic dinner. Dessert 5 stars! :-)

The cuisine is focused on regional products and fragrances , with a particular emphasis on organic food and the consciousness of our territory's richness.
The views are breathtaking, the territory is very much taken care of, the service very good but the food is too pretending. The same ingredients could have served to make something simpler but tastier. Still was not bad though a little beneath expectations and no desire to return despite the view.

In the village of San Vincenzo on the Tuscan coach is this small(and I mean "tiny") spot run by an enthusiastic young team. What you will eat depends totally on what the local fishermen delivered to the docks that morning. In other words, you cannot get fresher fish than this! Our Tuscan friends had the inside skinny on an off-the-menu specialty: Pesce cruda(aka sashimi) It was incedible!! we had it as an appetizer. HAH! It was enough to be a meal.Tuna tartare, calamari seviche, gamberi and red shrimp provided the true taste of the sea. Because we did not know better we had also ordered pici fruitti di mare. Excellent. And we finished by the four of sharing a grilled whole ombrino. A bottle of the humorously named and delicious OOPS! Sparkling rosato from MaremmAlta completed the meal.Seafood is never cheap but we found Mama Fish to be very reasonable. This is a restaurant that should not be missed if you anywhere close to this town.Make a detour if you must. BUT... be sure to make a reservation and pre-order the persce cruda.

Facing the sea, happiness is a simple idea. Papaveri e Mare breathes the story of an important past and an ambitious future. A philosophy that has been married from a team consolidated for years, where each oneâs experiences become the force of everyone.
Based on the excellent ratings and reviews here we gave the restaurant a try. At first, we were surprised how few people visited the restaurant.Well, the much-praised surroundings didn't really convince us. From the tables on the terrace you can, if you are lucky, get a side view of the harbor. Mostly, however, one has an ugly building site, or at least the wall of a run-down house in sight.â¨The service staff made a great effort and the food was consistently good and imaginative. The big hammer, however, came to the end: even after the double charged fish (one was with â¬50 already massively overpriced) was deleted from the bill, it was still astronomical and in no way adequate to what has been served. Now we knew why this restaurant didn't have more guests. For two thirds of the price you can eat at least as well, if not better, in the surroundings.A little modesty could help here ... in any case, we won't be back soon.Dear Hans_Hub,First of all, Thanks for your dinner yesterday. The price are showed on our web site, outside the restaurant before come in and on the menu. The fish that you ordered was âpescatoâ directly fishing rod in the Tirreno sea ; it doesnât came from fish farmer where the prices are cheaper. Another important point regards that it was for 2 person so = 25⬠each!! In your comment looks like a single portion is 50â¬. If you think we are too much expensive I advice to look better for a restaurant because we will continue to buy and to serve the best fish that we can find for our customer! Finally yesterday the restaurant was sold out and 2 tables had rebooked for Saturday night after the payment. Everybody has different perception livel but you can came back when ever, you are welcome!

At Torre di Baratti Bio Resort you can find the higher expression of the desire to rediscover a reality in wich humans and nature are in harmony. A biodynamic farm, working together with a high-end restaurant to provide you with absolute satisfaction. The
beautiful location in an agricultural land above the Gulf of Baratti with breathtaking views and olive trees and vines in nice presence. nice restaurant in marine style and rustic at the same time (without tablecloth in full post service). very kind and professional service. the menu of meat and fish reduced but with seasonal products and good quality. our dishes were good but the egg very bland (I ate the same dishes in many high-end restaurants). even desserts are good and well presented ... in general an nice evening in good atmosphere ... Tuscany rural and sea style and delicious food !
