Visited here for an early dinner after a boat trip around the island. Beautifully located down a lane way from the main road. They had a great selection of gluten free choices. And brought out complimentary gluten free bread sticks and rolls. Opted for a steak salad which was beautiful. The chips felt like they were chips cooked earlier in the day that had been refried, so they weren't the best. (would put me off going back though) They also brought gluten free condiments.Would definitely recommend

The dish we ordered was good. The service was orrible and long. I would not recomend it. The place is nice but the personnel is clearly not professional. A waste of time and money

My husband and I stumbled across this place en route. We both had the menu of the day and it was not good, it was exceptional! Gunard gnocchi - outstanding. Then gunard again (gallinella alla rustica), fabulous. The house wine (bianco sfuso) was incredibly good, almost cider like. The service (considering they knew we were just passing through) was attentive and genuine. Before you think, well, she's a Brit and everything tastes good to them, my husband is Italian and I've been in and out of the country for 30 years, and lived here for nearly ten. And this goes down as one of my best fish meals ever! Well done to the team!

Ristorante Pizzeria con forno a legna, terrazza panoramica sul golfo di Marina di Campo, gradita prenotazione.
We enjoyed this restaurant and actually found the owners and service staff very friendly. The Pizza was top class and not expensive. The view was great. We enjoyed it so much we returned four nights in a row.No complaints

Had dinner w a party of 9, little alcohol trunken but still in excess of 400 Euro. Filet de manzo was a high cut. Excellent. Also tried the dark penne (blackened) which left little to desire. Again, best location but highend Italian cooking in friendly atmosphere - with a bill to cover but hey, you only live once!

After a poor meal at Del Capitano, we went to Vesuvio for a Pizza but on arrival noted the same table clothes and it would appear the same owners as the Del Capitano in MDC.Again. lovely staff but food, below average and not cheap. Cafetteia level food at menu 'carte' prices. The pizza and grilled veges arrived in a few minutes which was amazing but the veges were stone cold. They sadi that the way they are served and for 7.90 Euro, the portion was pathetic and I could have a bought a carton of Zucchini and a carton of Melanzane for the same money. 5 slivers of each served up cold ?? Please !The pizza 'Specialty of the house' was soggy but had decent ingredients.I ordered the Spaghetti with Frutti di Mare.It would appear the trees of the sea had a bad day. It was plain pasta with oil and 10 small tasteless Cozze (Mussels) and few tiny clams. A rather poor show. Completely devoid of flavor. If there such a thing as flavor police I think they would have their work cut out at Marina Del Campo. A cooking school would or should do a booming trade there though if they are all serving such banal food and for so long, they probably don't care.Foodies beware, go elsewhere or stick to basic pizza with low expectations. We were directed to one place along the beach that all said was 'the best' in town BUT we were also warned by everyone that we would be charged excessively and also that at the end of the season, they lose interest. After some though I figured to save the money and disappointment of MDC and spend it where I know I will definitely get a good meal at reasonable value.Sorry for the harsh review but this town needs a kick in the biutt to improve their cuisine.

I think the issue was that there were 33 of us (from memory). This led to an interminable wait between the starters and the main, something like two hours. When it arrived, the food was delicious, and the staff were brilliant, friendly, helpful, doing their best. It's a restaurant I would love to try again, but ideally as a couple or foursome.I didn't order it, but my advice would be to steer clear of the 1 Kg+ steak. A few tried to tackle it, none finished, except the couple that ordered one between them.Maria (?) who used to work at Celtic Manor in the UK deserves special mention for her helpfulness.

you can eat the real Pinsa Romana ,not be confused with the Pizza ,it is more lighter and delicate and you will appreciate the flagrance of the pinsa .
If you are inside (too cold for dinner outside), there is not much space and you sort of dine in the working area.Pinse are a kind of non-round pizza, coming in different flavors and freshly baked.

We visited twice during our stay in the nearby Village Cavoli. Absolut the best dinning experience we had. Italian food with a touch of gourmet and the little extra that makes it something we will remember. Beautiful terasse, nice looking tables and professional, personal service. Remember to book your table. I give this my warmest recommendations if you are in for an extra experience!

Been there last week with my wife for a special occasion and despite a tedious discussion on our reserved table with the restaurant sommelier (...not sure why he was interfering with the waiters? !... thankfully the matre got involved and resolved it brilliantly) we had a wonderful dinner and lovely time together. The outstanding quality of the food and beautiful location well deserves the pricy bill!Suggest to visit it and book well in advance specifying you want one of the best tables (...those facing the beach).
