Traditional Cuisine Leonesa recovering the flavors of always. In the center of Leon, in the incomparable and magical surroundings of the Plaza del Grano, our Restaurant de las Carbajalas is known for its traditional Leonese cuisine, bringing our guests to
We stayed at the hotel and based on the TA reviews, decided to eat in. Excellent choice. We started with the Benedictine salad. Lots of sliced veal, nuts, figs, delicious balsamic. We didnât add the accompanying mustard/honey. While the rice with vegetable is listed as being for two people, it was early, there were few patrons, and the Mrs. was able to get a portion for one. Very large portion served in an iron skillet, seemingly like paella de verdura. I got a very large serving size of entrecôte. It was served rare/medium rare, which was how I like it. I had forgotten to request it that way and the server didnât ask me but it all worked out ok. As I noted, serving sizes were quite generous, food was delicious, and prices were reasonable.

We loved the hotel, it is in a perfect location in the town and secure, free parking was a bonus. The staff were professional and friendly. Our room was very comfortable. The manager's tour, as many people have pointed out, was really interesting and Leon is a charming town. However, the menu in the restaurant had nothing for vegetarians. We asked if the chef could make a French omelette for us to share. This was fine and came with a salad of mixed leaves and a small portion of chips. The non-vegetarian 3 course set menu was 16 euros so we were expecting about the same for our meal but we were surprised on checking out next day that we had been charged 30 euros. The most expensive omelette ever!! We left feeling defrauded and disappointed. This spoiled what was otherwise a perfect stay.

Pizza artisan. Possibly the best pizzeria in Leon. Friendly service. Guisseppe, owner of Neapolitan origin is lovely, the place, especially in summer, very good to go with kids in winter and feel the heat from the wood oven.
We arrived here when it was completely full. We decided to wait it out in hopes that a table would open up and it did. LUCKY US. Even with the large language barrier our waiters were extremely patient and helpful. The pizza was delicious and the ingredients were fresh. We were so happy with our experience I went inside to give my compliments. I received a full on man hug and gratitude for my efforts. We will always return here when back in Leon.

reservation: accepted over the phone, they did not specified that the restaurant has a single menu.nobody asked for intolerance, gluten diary etc. the menu was in Spanish and nobody in the Restaurant speak English, therefore the plates explanation was totally missed. In 3 over 7 dishes there was a liquid to be poured into the plate.only 3 of the dishes were outstanding the other tasteless or a non sense Pablo like to play with temperature and consistencies in the plate ....but at the end the dish MUST BE GOOD and sometime it was notThe technique is there and we will see in a few years. Pablo must decide if he wants to remain a local chef

Homely restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine.
Ate here twice while in Leon. Pizzas were amazing! Absolutely the best I have had. the baked Provolone was also terrific. Pleasant atmosphere. Located in a small alley with a view of the Cathedral it was an absolutely charming and peaceful experience with many locals coming and going by. The two people who run it are also very very nice and take good care of their customers. Prices extremely reasonable. Will definitely eat here again when I return next year.Dear Lotis. Thank you very much.It has been a pleasure to serve you in the Piccola Stanza. We are looking forward to next year. Best wishes.

It is in the outer reaches of Leon but my clever fiancée had booked a hotel very close by. The food was indeed Michelin standard with the finesse and diversity we gave come to expect. The salad soup gave me cause for concern but in fact turned out to be delicious. Service is brisk to the point of over efficiency but lets face it for â¬43 for the meal and â¬20 for the wine flight it's a steal. Highly recommended for the food.

Casa Mando, in General Lafuente S/N Street, in the gates ot the humid district of León, here you can taste the best Leonese Gastronomy, dishes made with the best natural products of the season and of the region: cured meats, legumes from La Bañeza, fresh
Top quality service and excellent food. Not cheap but not expensive either. In fact, the prices are just right for the quality food you get served. Highly recommend the âChuletillas de Conejoâ (Rabbit Ribs) as itâs what I had (photo included) and enjoyed tremendously. The wife had the âMacarones a la suegraâ (Macaroni pasta with cheese and chorizo) and she affirms it was absolutely to die for! Highly recommend this restaurant.Dear customer, we thank you not only for your feedback, but also for the assessment you make of our establishment .
