We found this place because we're staying at Fitzpatrick Castle and was looking for some good food. We found it! The food was top notch and the service was friendly and attentive without being invasive. The steak was cooked perfectly and the warm goat cheese salad was absolutely delicious. Do your self a favor and have a pint or two, craic, and wonderful food in this beautiful pub.

We are a specialty sandwich cafe serving made-to-order sandwiches and salads using the finest local produce and Caviston's bakery breads which are delivered fresh every day. We bake our own scones and cakes on the premises daily using fresh ingredients, w
We found this small cafe more by look than design, it is rather tucked away. It is situated on the first floor of the furniture store in a small retail park near Bray.We queued to order our food, however, the lady serving was more interested in having a chat with a customer rather than taking orders from the lengthening queue. We ordered 2 soup, Mexican bean and a scone and an espresso. The soup was served with 3 slices and 3 of different types of bread, and cost £5 each, it was hearty and tasty.A scone with butter and jam was â¬2.60 and an espresso â¬2.50. The scone was a bit doughy, heavy, a bit under cooked, good coffee. It was popular for take aways Looking out the window was a wonderful view of the Dublin mountains.Would have given this a rating of very good had the service been better and the scone was up to scratch, however, there is no rating on TripAdvisor for good so average is about right for this visit.Hi David,All of us at Red Bird Cafe were very surprised by your review which would not remotely reflect the sentiment of our customers. We're glad you tried our cafe and left a review as we have the attitude that all cafes can get better and continual improvement is something we strive for. However, if something isn't up to scratch, we have a policy to fix it then and there no questions, no quibbles. It is rare that this happens but we do everything to keep our customers happy and to respond straight away. Unfortunately, you do need to tell us if something isn't to your liking as we feel it's a bit unfair to leave a review without giving us the opportunity to fix any issue you may have. We would have happily changed or replaced your scone. Our scones are baked from scratch every morning in our cafe and are so popular that we have customers phoning us in advance to put some away for them. If there was something wrong (in three years, we have't had one single complaint about a scone) we would fix it. And we would ask that you give cafes and restaurants that you visit the opportunity to do this in respect of fairness. We were fortunate to be nominated for Best Cafe In Wicklow in the Irish Restaurant Awards 2018 - a national award system that ensures you can only be entered by genuine customers. With regard chatting to our customers. We're delighted to say that about 90% of our customers are repeat visitors - we know them and having a friendly chat is something imporant to both us and them. In an industry that is increasly being dominated by multinationals and chains, these relationships are increasingly imporant. Thanks again for your feedback.

I just returned from Cannes. Who knew that I would experience better French cuisine in Bray than France. Everything was so thoughtfully prepared and presented. The scallops were delicious and arrived tucked into their shells bursting with flavor. Carrot beet salad was gorgeous. Needed a little salt but was happy to sprinkle it on myself. Cocktails and wine were divine and dessert! Grilled French peaches with merengue and mouth watering fruity accompaniments. I had one bite left and someone attempted to take my dish. Well poor thing, I nearly bit his arm off (sorry!). Ok and last but not least, the staff! They were all amazing. So attentive and friendly and knowledgable. I will definitely be back!!!Hi pattyish,Thank you for taking the time to review Cowfish and for your kind words. We've worked very hard on our new menu and we're delighted to hear that you enjoyed it - the scallops are one of my favourite dishes too :)We hope to see you again soon.Best,Aisling

Tucked away in the middle of Bray Harbour, you'll have to look closely to find Dockyard No.8 but you will be more than rewarded once you do. This is a top class breakfast, brunch, lunch and bistro spot that boasts an ever changing and innovative menu. Exp

Nice decor, very friendly service, good location right on the strand. Good parking in front. I had the duck. It was excellent. My wife had the fish and chips. Unfortunately, the fish was over cooked. I suspect that was a fluke because everything else seemed to click very well. I recommend the place and would enjoy returning. Hi DJB25Thank you for writing this review. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed your visit to Ocean Bar & Grill but we are disappointed to read about the fish. Hopefully you will visit us again and enjoy another delicious meal.Kind regardsEmily
