Find out what French restaurants to try in Dublin. You've probably heard that Guinness tastes better in Dublin (fresh from the factory), but what you may not know is that Dublin is a perfect destination for the whole family. No, we're not suggesting you let the kiddies drink a pint. Instead, take them to the Dublin Zoo, to feed the ducks in Stephen's Green or on a picnic in Phoenix Park. Scholars enjoy walking in the literary footsteps of such writers as Yeats and Joyce, while discerning shoppers have their pick of designer boutiques.

The steak was really good, and loved the fact that you can add grilled raclette. the veggie tofu steak was also good.loved all the possibilities of potatoes as side dishes, was difficult to choose, but all the options we tried were perfect. really best place in Dublin for meat.

We were welcomed by lovely friendly French staff, our coats and bags were looked after. There was a good selection on the menu, we had- crab, lobster, suckling pig staters with wonderful breads, followed by Quail, lamb and tortellini for mains, all were wonderfully presented and so tasty, perfectly balanced recipes! Service was seemless with great attention to detail. Highly recommend.

We reserved our table for 14 people in advance by email, together with a fixed menu for the group. The communication with the restaurant was very smooth and prompt. Everything was arranged when we arrived. The food was lovely and so was the service. Thank you 1900 for the amazing lunch!

La Maison is the latest venture of Breton chef Olivier Quenet. In April 2009 he transformed his French cafe and boulangerie, La Maison des Gourmets, into a simple yet chic restaurant where he aims to continue his dedication to Irish people eating affordab
Loved this place for many years. Duck and beef requested medium arrived well done. French fries never showed up although a customer shouldn't even have to spend additional 4.50 euro on fries when they're already paying 8 euro supplement for steak. Wine arrived about 30 mins late. Throughout the meal we were served by 6 or 7 different waiters. Eventually we waited another 30 mins for the promised desert menu. Noticed other customers at nearby tables also waiting despite high number of staff. Something is definitely changed with the service and cooking standards and unfortunately it's for the worse. Hope la maison can go back to the old ways! Thank you for your review and I would like to have a opportunity to have details of that evening to make sure I doesnât happen again. Ideally located on Dawson Street a stone's throw away from St Stephen's Green. Amuse Restaurant specialises in tasting Menus rooted in French cuisine with a distinctly Asian feel.
Wanted somewhere really great to have dinner with a good friend today and Amuse is always just the place. Food devine as usual, lots of texture, flavor and colour. We both had cod, wonderful starter and mouthwatering dessert. Wine was great as well. Hats off to chiefs in the kitchen, the waiting staff are professional and friendly and take great pride in presenting the dishes. Amuse is a must for food lovers, a wonderful restaurant for food lovers.

This restaurant is a half flight below sidewalk level next The Merrion Hotel., It is not inexpensive, but the service, food preparation and wine list provide an experience and value commensurate with the cost. We both had fish and a a very nice French wine recommended by the sommelier. We shared an attractive and different desert, four small waffle cones with a small scoop of different homemade ice creams in each cone. Perfect for sharing and palate cleansing. The server was attentive without hovering and was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and preparation details.
