We went in one evening for dinner and wouldn't be going back any time soon. We ordered a few burgers and chips and a pad Thai. The cashier had never heard of pad Thai and said they didn't do it. We pointed it out on the menu and she apologised. When it came down it was served in a takeaway container and couldn't be eaten as it was spilling over the side. I asked for a plate but they didn't have one. It also wasn't pad Thai, it was nice but not what I ordered. It had no nuts in it and no lime wedge(was on menu) and the flavour was wrong. When I asked for lime they didn't know why I wanted it and could only offer a bit of lemon.The burgers were OK but the chips weren't great.

Visited this takeaway for myself & 4 others.I'm very sorry to say that none of us could eat our meals.The rice & noodles that accompanied each meal where very greasie & over cooked,as where the chicken & vegatables, & the beef was tough & grisley.We where all very disappointed with our food & I will not be returning there!

The queues are unreal in this place. It can be so busy that I've walked out or driven out of the drive thru on more than one occasion. Its understaffed full stop! Staff are rude when you use a voucher.Avoid at all costs.

We found Ricoâs by chance. Itâs situated on the Wexford Road, and is set back from the main road with car parking in front. Ricoâs is bright and very clean. The staff at the counter were super friendly and helpful. We ordered battered cod and chips. We were charged 5 euro!! I thought the lady had made a mistake and returned to tell her we had ordered chips with the fish. She advised me that fish and chips were 5 Euro on a Wednesday!There were a few people in front of us but service was efficient and we didnât have to wait too long. We were rewarded with delicious cod in a light crispy batter .and ample chips for two. The chips were excellent also.There are a few bistro type tables and chairs for customers. We noticed Ricoâs do daily specials when I checked out there fb page. The place was busy with locals both waiting and phoning through orders.Highly recommend and will revisit the next time we visit Arklow.

What an absolute shame. We had the fish and chips which were excellent, but what you have to go through to get them borders on contempt from the servers. 3 big seats outside, but no accessories etc to make eating easier. Hard to eat a large fish with just your fingers. Had we not been starving, we would have walked out.

Walked in. ..greeted immediately by a very nice fellow. .and not in your face if you catch my drift. Seated at a very nice booth by the window looking out at the sea. ..a very nice girl came to ask for our order she was efficient helpful and friendly and seemed to actually like where she was working. Food arrived and quite honestly they were the nicest boneless chicken wings I have tasted in a very long time we had both cajun and hot spicy we shared cheesy fries. ..I say no more. We noticed that the place was spotless from table to floor. ...we or I or family or many friends will be back! Just raging I didn't pick up on staff names cause you guy's deserve a mention.

Stopping off here for a quick bag of chips, we were surprised to see that there was an eat in facility, which we availed of. The service was prompt, very friendly in clean surroundings overlooking the river,Our order developed into 2 breasts of chicken and chips with two Cokes,The chicken was cooked just right and the breasts were of a generous size, with plenty of accompanying chips.A substantial meal for less than â¬20.Well worth stopping here.
