I have family who live by, so have eaten here a lot at different times when we visit them. In the last few visits we had several different meals at different times. The breakfast was very good. Really tasty and plentiful. We also had lunch and dinner there on other days and in both cases I had fish. Both times it was very overcooked, bordering on inedible. I also had chicken there for lunch another time and this was very good and tasty. Sometimes the accompanying chips were very good, but sometimes they were not hot enough & had lots of black bits on them.The staff generally are very nice & friendly, but sometimes when the place is very busy they can be a little abrupt.Consistency would really improve the experience here.

Have just moved to Sallins, and dined in Two Cooks, last Saturday.....What a fantastic meal my wife and I had...The staff are so friendly, the service excellent, the homemade breads to die for....We had the Mussels and sirloin, and would definitely have again, Cant wait to go back and taste all their menus....

We called in here for lunch after a long walk. The staff are really lovely here. There were numerous specials and a fine menu as well.We had a lasagne and a mushroom risotto both of which were delicious. Would return if I was in Maynooth again. Highly recommended. The food at Zucchini's was great! The vegetable soup and goat cheese three ways were our favorite. The wine was good and the service was great. We would definitely come back to this restaurant!
