Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Courtown. Courtown (Irish: Baile na Cúirte, meaning "homestead of the court"), is a village which developed after Lord Courtown ordered the construction of a harbour during the Famine years, 1839-1846. The economic boost of the new harbour led to a small village developing with fishing been the primary economy of the village. The Duck is a terrace restaurant with cocktail bar restored buildings in the courtyard of Marlfield House Hotel. The restaurant is in a long stone building with French doors opening onto a sandstone terrace overlooking the kitchen garden filled with veget
We were staying in the Marlfield House Hotel and the Duck Restaurant while not in the hotel itself is in the hotel courtyard and is part of the same establishment. The food was very good on both nights we ate there. The Wexford Lamb Rump was really good, nice and rare with very tasty sauces and vegetables. The Marinated Monkfish was also very good. A number of contributors have complained about the service. I can see where they may have cause for complaint but I certainly had no such complaint. A good restaurant, serving good food which I would recommend.

Situated in Gorey town, Co. Wexford, Eco Pizzeria and Restaurant is the most popular and busiest in town.
Are here and had the most amazing chicken wings and my wife had the calamari equally as good. This place has great food but what really stood out was the excellent staff a great credit to this restaurant. They were extremely busy but were so friendly and even chatted when taking orders and gave great recommendations. Everything we had was amazing so good in fact we had to come back the second night and further try out the menu and we were not disappointed.I don't say this lightly you must try this place out.
Alberto's Traditional Fish & Chips is situated at Courtown Harbour Gorey Co. Wexford. This wonderful takeaway serves a wide range of food including Pizza, Fish, Kebabs, Burgers, chicken and many more. There are also a variety of meal deals for you to choos
We visited here whilst on holiday, very efficient staff, clean and friendly, can watch owner (we assume the owner) spinning bases for pizzas in background, very theatrical, missed out on pizzas this time but when return deffo having one. We ordered cod and chips, came in nice takeaway boxes, also can eat in. Fish was fresh, chunky and white with crispy batter and the chunky chips where flavoursome, dry and not at all greasy, again, be having more of that too. Great place, keep up the good work.Thank you very much, like ORISON SWEET MARDEN said.THE GOLDEN RULE IN EVERY BUSINESS IS:PUT YOUR SELF IN COSTUMER'S PLACE,and for us is very important to look after our costumers, thank you from ALBERTO'S.we look forward to seeing you again.

Went here having made a booking for a Friday night, and it's a good job we did as the place was packed- great atmosphere. It has a real Italian feel to it, simple but nice. Great selection of food (not all pizza/ pasta) and everything we had was lovely. Service was slightly on the slower side but that was expected given how full the place was. Will definitely return!
