Had A wonderful meal here with my husband. I had the seafood pasta which was fresh and delicious, especially the calamari which is so often overcooked in other restaurants. My husband had nonnas meatballs which were fantastic. The house wine was lovely. Great service, friendly staff and great value for money. Also we loved the decor, will definitely be visiting again.

Most of the restaurants in Athlone are located close to the main street or around the castle. This one is near the old abbey and the Hospital.Decor externally and internally really gives the wrong impression.internally it looks too much like the restraurant in Coronation Street. The dining areas are located upstairs and this people with limited mobility cannot access it.The Italian food is good and the service reasonable.

We were sent upstairs to the upper room which is not accessible to people with mobility issues. the decor and lighting are discreet and generally modern. The staff were well presented Italians and the food tasted good. we paid â¬40 a head for our meal.

Visited for lunch. Very impressed. The place is decoratively lovely, with comfortable seating. Open with a feeling of space. The staff were lovely and really helpful. I had a non alcoholic beer, brewed in Dungarvan. It was different! The pizza was one of the nicest I have had, at home or abroad. To add to all that, the location is beautiful, right along the river and they have tables and chairs outside, making the most of their location. I would highly recommend this place.
