Irish Style Restaurant serving top quality local produce In a warm relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Clonmel.
My partner and I were in Clonmel for one night and booked the Bunker at short notice after viewing previous very positive TripAdvisor reviews. I can attest that this restaurant is worthy of its 5 star rating. The best restaurants combine good food and great staff and this place has both in abundance, Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and service was seamless and unobtrusive. My partner is a coeliac and was easily accommodated, with much of the menu able to be adjusted to omit gluten. The starters of chicken wings and prawns were delicious, the home made breads very good too. We had a fillet steak and a ribeye for mains and both were cooked to perfection ( you would be surprised how many so called steak restaurants cannot actually cook a steak properly). The confit onions were a new experience and full of flavour. The wine list is reasonably priced and the wines are good quality and varied. The setting for the restaurant is a basement in a historical building, with the original brickwork and structure preserved, making for a cosy and interesting venue.I highly recommend the Bunker;we will be back for sure.

Only restaurant in Kilkenny cooking in Charcoal. Food very fresh and tasty. Come in and be amazed.
Very tasty food straight from the grill! Weâve never been disappointed with our meals and have left each visit looking forward to returning. Itâs a bit of a âno frillsâ restaurant but this makes it relaxed and easy going. I enjoy the chicken peri peri, husband goes for the mixed grill and the chicken fillet burgers are a winner for the kids. Parking can be a bit tricky depending on when youâre going, just across the street from mc Donagh junction shopping center though. Would highly recommended for a relaxed tasty family meal.

Modern Irish cuisine in a stylish, contemporary atmosphere. Experience exquisite service and taste creative , Passionate food.
My family and I had a lovely experience at Mani in C lonmel last night. From the time I made the booking the staff were extremely helpful as a couple in our party have dietary restrictions but they were so willing to adapt the menu to suit us. The decor inside is tasteful and very appealng and the food certainly lived up to its surroundings. We had a tasty mushroom and fennel soup and a chicken salad beautifully presented , then most of us had surf and turf cooked to our various tastes, pan fried crispy salmon, which my husband loved and chicken goujons adapted for a dairy free child and chips. We followed up with 3 white chocolate and raspberry cheesecakes, one selection of ice cream with a crispy honeycomb crunch and a sorbet for the grand nephew. Our waitress Catherine was lovely and made us very welcome and the chef was excellent. What can I say more?......we'll be back. My sister has already recommended a visit to Ireland to her son in Wales to include Mani's restaurant! Hi Lesley, thanking you for taking the time in writing us such a wonderful review. All of Mani's staff are thrilled to hear you all enjoyed your Mani Experience. We always do are best to ensure we can accommodate are customers where possible. We are looking forward to serving you all again very soon.
