Tamara is a large, stylish and well-located restaurant in Tallaght, which features Asian cuisine principally, but also serves a small range of European dishes. There is an excellent range of choice available, including vegetarian, and what we sampled was tasty and well-presented. The service was excellent, although the waiterâs pronounced Asian accent made conversation a little difficult! The cost of the meal was very reasonable.

There are a number of Chinese restaurants in the vicinity of Choices but I had been here a couple of years ago and remember enjoying it so I chose this for a return visit. We arrived at about 16:00 on a Sunday afternoon and as such were offered the early bird deal of three courses for â¬15 which is available until 17:00.I started with the selection of ribs, chicken dippers and a spring roll, this came with sweet and sour and satay sauces. The portion was generous and very tasty. I had sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, again the portion was huge and delicious. The rice in particular was excellent and better than Iâve had from most Chinese restaurants. My girlfriend had prawn with cashew nuts for main and enjoyed it too.We both finished off with coffee. The restaurant wasnât busy when we arrived so service was quick and friendly.
Food is lovely staff very friendly but per portion it's getting mean you guys so sorry for saying that but very expensive for the size of meal but have say tip top food one hundred percent don't lose customers for food price.

Had a very enjoyable last night in cosy clean surroundings while the wind howled outside the rain battered the windows. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, and by the time we were leaving only 4 tables were occupied. Not unusual for midweek, or considering the terrible weather outside. Prawn crackers and a jug of water were brought to our table as soon as we were seated and we had a good look down through the menu. Choices were pretty good, but the set meals were just too big for two people so we opted for two starters and two mains instead. We shared a Yuk Sung dish for starters and we dined on a Prawn and Duck dishes respectively for mains. Service was very prompt and non-intrusive. The meals were delicious, portion sizes very good, and I am glad to report that this restaurant has never disappointed (prices are reasonable too). There is never a rush put on customers to leave, so we sat for quite a while when our meal was finished, enjoying our coffees and having a chat. If you are driving to this restaurant, be aware that there is pay parking along the street outside, and you WILL be clamped if you havenât paid your fee. Having said that if you arrive after 7 p.m. parking is free. Just be forewarned if you are arriving any earlier, and donât have your evening spoiled by having to pay a clamping fine.

Modern Tasty and Fun
Thursday evening 18th visiting my sister who had recently moved into the area and we decided to have a take away and we opted to give this one a go.We phoned in our order for delivery and were told it would take 30 to 40 minutes, which was fine. We ordered Thai Red chicken curry, Duck in plum sauce and chicken chow mein, rice was included in the price of the curry and duck meal.It took about 20 minutes and our food was delivered, the total cost of our meals was £28.60. The food was piping hot and the containers were filled to bursting. The food was delicious and we enjoyed every mouthful.Great value, and super food with speedy delivery.
