Have been to this lovely venue a good few times now and have tried different menu options. Unfortunately they all have one thing in common. Zero flavor. Such a pity. Even the coffee isn’t good. It’s not much above instant. It’s know they could do so much better and I wish they would. I’d much rather be extolling its deliciousness than complaining. I’m disappointed every time but things change and hopefully it will get better.

We had shared starters 2 between 3 of us - they were good size portions, and the main course had curry and burgers they were also good-sized portions. I ended up stuffed as I couldn't resist eating all the curry. The lights got dimmer as the evening went on but a bit too dim as couldn't see what I was eating.Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your meal. We have fitted new lights in your front bar today, hopefully the lighting will be better on your next visit.

I have family who live by, so have eaten here a lot at different times when we visit them. In the last few visits we had several different meals at different times. The breakfast was very good. Really tasty and plentiful. We also had lunch and dinner there on other days and in both cases I had fish. Both times it was very overcooked, bordering on inedible. I also had chicken there for lunch another time and this was very good and tasty. Sometimes the accompanying chips were very good, but sometimes they were not hot enough & had lots of black bits on them. The staff generally are very nice & friendly, but sometimes when the place is very busy they can be a little abrupt.Consistency would really improve the experience here.
