Darchini Restaurant is a family owned authentic Indian Restaurant that also offers Italian dishes. It is based in Rathangan, Co Kildare.
Food and starter good, Service good,Price good.It is a bit between a fast food place and a restaurant as atmosphere, but plates are generous and convenient for all taste. I wouldnât consider it for a romantic meal, but a chilled one with friends. Price are similar than in a take away Indian restaurant, reflects so the place.

Super Tasty Food - Great Value - Friendly ServiceIt has to be admitted that it doesn't look great from the outside, and the inside is very tired and shabby but the friendly greeting, good service, super tasty food and great value more than make up for the appearance of the premises.Have had eat in and takeaway and it never fails to impress

Made arrangements to meet my wifes family for an afternoon get together and lunch. There were 15 seniors in total and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. That day there was a 4 course lunch special for senior citizens priced at just 11 euro.Unbeliveable value and everyone enjoyed the food which can only be described as excellent. Well done Dowlings, we will certainly return regardless of your special lunch menu.
It's not the first time I've eaten here. As a golfer I played a few times here for my clubr and had a meal afterwards. This time I was there for a confirmation dinner. The surroundings as always were lovely... the staff very friendly.. we were a group of 10 with 3 children... we ordered several items off the menu... my pick was the Parma ham with tomato with mozzarella which was just Devine. My main was South Indian chicken curry. It was presented lovely but very bland... they mustn't use spices in South India. I was disappointed... we didn't have a desert as we had a confirmation cake. Wouldn't be ordering that again if I ever go again.... they certainly know how to charge also..
