We had a group of 10 people here for lunch, decor was really nice and seating and service was good. Menu are what you would normally expect with a mixture of seafood, burgers and pasta to name but a few. The Burger was good, average, nothing really great but good enough not to have any negative comments about. Had it with chips and salad. Pasta was very good, 3 of us had it and all said it was really nice. We had a couple of kids meals also and all of them were good. Service was good, got one order wrong , a mix up in the kitchen but didnt have a negative effect on the meal. I found it a bit expensive for what we had, but the staff made an effort to make sure our meal was enjoyable and the service was good.

Spent a long weekend in Dublin at the end of August and gravitated to Skerries .All of the over-priced sea front bistros were packed.Having decided to walk back to the station we happened upon The Salty Dog.First rate food and beer,friendly staff and a traditional warm Irish welcome.Pleasant music too.If you are in the area,ignore the bistros and go to the Salty DogThanks so much for the lovely ReviewHope to see you soonRegards The Salty Dog

Lovely decor friendly staff thats all positive. Negative is the food... ordered fish and chips very oily and overcooked. Chips were like leftovers from the fryer, again overcooked and greasy. Seriously its not cheap and felt like it was a waste of money for the quality of food you get there. We are not coming back...
