Booked table for 11-15. Glad we did. Place was hopping when we arrived. Great atmosphere. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast...cant remember The exact name from the menu....scrambled egg, potato cake, mushroom, tomatoes and toast. Really delicious. My husband had the regular fry which he said was perfect. Daughter had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Fussy as anything....a pancake connoisseur...and she loved them. Staff very attentive. 40 euro bill which included tea, coffee & a berry smoothie. Great value. Cant wait to go back!

Used to like this place but have found the service has gone downhill in recent years. It is much quieter than the place above, service not as friendly or enthusiastic and they need to step up their offer to match. The burgers remain very good/tasty but service and atmosphere letting it down. The prices are also not value in my opinion. Considering the burgers don't come with any sides, and now it's self service ordering, it is more expensive than other comparable places. on our latest and last visit we were informed that we needed to write down our order and place them at the counter and handed a few sheets. (The place was empty bar us.) So with a 2 yr old and newborn in tow I spent a long time figuring out how to use the order sheets and writing down ur order as legibly as I could. I went up to same person who seated us at counter and thought I could just hand over order sheets. No, I then had to read out the whole order again for her to punch it into the computer and pay at that point. I thought the whole idea was a ridiculous waste of time for me the customer. What was point of me writing it down too? And basically you are now paying premium prices for counter service? with 2 very young kids with me this was just time I didn't have to just put an order in. Never again.

Had daughters 21st birthday celebration at Gilbert & Wrights Swords last weekend.- fab night had by all!!! Food was fab, staff (Paul, Shannon, Sarah, Ciaran, Karl and doorman {didn't get his name :-)} were all so incredibly helpful and friendly. Helped us set up for the night with balloons, table decorations etc. Nothing was too much trouble!! Would definitely recommend for any celebration!!! Daughter says she wouldn't have changed a thing about her night - PERFECT!!!
