Fáilte! Welcome to 30 Church Street, your newest neighbourhood Restaurant. We serve delicious wood-fired pizza, the best of Irish beef and the freshest of Irish seafood. Our Restaurant's interior is comfortable and relaxed, with open fires on the ground f
Visited one evening when the sun was shining. The view from our table was just wonderful. The manager Jakup served us and all the staff were friendly. The menu is quite small, but plenty of fish. I would have liked to see something like duck or lamb, but there was steak. The timings of the courses was just perfect. Starting with a prosecco, we had the scallops and the pate for starters, both perfect. The scallops were perfectly cooked with tiny lumps of black pudding, on a bed of cauliflower puree, gorgeous. The chicken liver and foie gras was perfect, served with toast. The restaurant was fairly full for a Wednesday, and the staff were kept busy. Our main course arrived, 28 Day Aged Ribeyes, with wild mushrooms, confit shallot, hand cut chips, and jus which was really rich. The steaks were cooked to perfection (rare) but it was really big. The only disappointment of the whole meal were the chips, which were boring, not as good as the local Caira chipper, and not very tasty. We had a beautiful Cahors Malbec and shared a Classic vanilla crème brûlée, with a gorgeous shortbread Biscuit with Bailys coffee (served in a large wine glass!). Overall I really enjoyed my meal, with a view of the old Abbey, the graveyard, and the beautiful views of the harbour and Ireland's Eye with Lambay in the distance. The staff were attentive and very pleasant. The pricing is a little steep but the food is almost fine dining. The wine range is excellent if a little pricey too. Well worth a visit.

Established in 1971, Aidan and Joan MacManus have earned an international reputation for fresh seafood in their harbour-side restaurant in the picturesque fishing village of Howth. In 1999, they extensively rebuilt their old Harbour Master's house, reloca
The. best. calamari. ever!!! This restaurant is beautiful, right on the sea front with the best sea food fishes at a resonable price. A trip to Howth wouldnt be complete without a visit. It does get really busy in peak season so you may have to stalk a table until it becomes free but its defo worth the wait.

We had lunch for my dads birthday but never again, after long time we thought was going to be better but nothing changed, always overpriced and slow service. We ordered 2 sea bream mains and a rib eye, the fish was just half fillet with mush potatoes and green beans for 18 euro, for that price can be better, there was no fish. The meat was nice tasty but on 10 oz there was 3 oz of fat that was left on the plate for 23 euro. The restaurant was not full at all but we had to wait over 40 mins, very slow..... and after our meal we had to order an extra portion of wedges and a calamari because everyone was still starving. We had 3 pints of beer and 2 coffees. The bill was 97 euro for 3 people in the end and nobody was happy. We paid over 30 euro per person to have only potatoes. Thanks million for the lovely meal.Hi thanks for taking the time to write your review. I am extremely disappointed to hear you didn't enjoy your visit. Just had calamari, Moroccan salad and a crab salad. All were fabulous. I asked the other table how it was before we ordered and he said it was "OK". He didn't order what we did because our meal was excellent. Definitely go back next time.

Tel: 806 3921 They've got a couple of rave reviews from newspapers displayed in their restaurant, but unfortunately I didn't note which papers they were. Their seafood was incredibly fresh, perhaps bought right off of the docks. We had incredible fried oy
Over pricy for what we had -Crayfish Liquine, dry and not much crayfish and â¬29 for an ok steak! Third person had fish and chips which was regular chipper style. Starters- we all had prawns which were pale, and tired !A lot of loud background music and with tables very near each other its not somewhere you would go for a quiet talk. Service was very good & great location... maybe it was our choices on night but didnt feel final bill actually gave us that much "joy".

Stopped for a quick mid-afternoon bite on a Saturday afternoon right before the evening rush. Fantastic service and so many good seafood options. Fried calamari rings were unbelievable!

We had a lovely evening here for a little family get together. Although we were late asking for an area for ten people a lovely member of staff Ian really looked after us and got us tables altogether to enjoy the live music. Thank you to Ian and all the staff of OâConnells for making our night extra special. Highly recommend this place

This place is phenomenal, I really loved the history of it and the way it is designed , the gardens outside look stunning but most important the SEAFOOD is extraordinary. It was a Wednesday and I ordered a Chowder and A seafood platter the waiter ( MARIO ) suggested me this meal. The service was great as well and Mario was a very polite guy and looked after me and my wife. He gave us some tourist attractions to visit in Dublin and suggested us to do the Cliff walk. We we're sitting next to a window by the fire and we loved everything about this place. Definitely will come back one day. Gracie everybody

We love the place, a real treat, great vibe, great service and excellent food, yes it's a tad expensive but well worth it in our view. A lot of people say they were not aware of the 10% service charge, open your eyes people, it is clearly stated on the menu, if it offends you, don't leave a tip.....Dressed crab on toast with a side salad for my wife with a glass of Riesling and I can very much recommend the monk fish and prawns in sherry sauce, superb mid afternoon food for â¬35.For sure we'll be back next time we're in Dublin.Actually love you!!!! Itâs amazing how people wonât take the time to read the menu properly but have no issue taking the time to go online and bellyache without the facts. You rock!!! Next time you come in let me know and we will give you some grub on the house
