Loads of natural character, ambiance and vitality here! But to see this premises at its most magical, a nocturnal visit is obligatory when the old heritage pub is buzzing with activity, pulsating with atmosphere and reverberating to the sounds of laughter
This is a real pub, not a plastic fantasy, so worth a try. There is a good selection of draft beers on offer, and the food I had was home cooked and not microwave stuff. The value is good for what you get, not Michelin star food, but for the price what do you expect. A good option to the theme bars you will find in the city!

I usually go with my family for a weekend lunch and, occasionally, for evening drinks with friends. The food is good, well presented and decently priced. A good service has been the pillar of a live and friendly atmosphere. Most customers are locals. It is a great place to meet friends and neighbors.

Food Emporium & Cafe located in the heart of Applewood Village in Swords. Bicycle themed old world restaurant boasting Shabby & Chic. Breakfast , Brunch & Lunch served daily. Wheelchair accessible and family orientated food Parlour
Much like their other branch, Swords is a very busy restaurant that does lovely tasty food at reasonable prices. The server today was incredible, clearly the more senior staff member, she ran the floor with professionalism and skill. Both the food and lovely service was welcomed and I will be returning.

Booked table for 11-15. Glad we did. Place was hopping when we arrived. Great atmosphere. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast...cant remember The exact name from the menu....scrambled egg, potato cake, mushroom, tomatoes and toast. Really delicious. My husband had the regular fry which he said was perfect. Daughter had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Fussy as anything....a pancake connoisseur...and she loved them. Staff very attentive. 40 euro bill which included tea, coffee & a berry smoothie. Great value. Cant wait to go back!

From the creative mind behind the Blind Pig Speakeasy, multi award winning bartender Paul Lambert, comes a cosy low lit wine bar, serving up delicous food, the finest wines and tantalizing cocktails in a cool laid back setting. Our focus is on providing F
I was here for the first time last week and was very pleasantly surprised to find that their early bird menu extends to 6pm on a Friday, rare,as most restaurants offer this from Monday-Thursday only. The early bird menu is varied and well priced and I chose beef nachos as a starter (great portion, almost like a main course) and a Cajun chicken burger as a main. All of the food was gorgeous, even the chips were yummy. Also of note is that they offer de-alcoholised wine and Heineken zero beer, for anyone who is driving but still wants to feel that they are being sociable by having a drink. My dinner was very good value, wait staff were very efficient and friendly - I will definitely be back.

Modern Eatery and Cocktail Bar
Lovely family dining experience. Plenty of choice to suit all ages, youngest in our group was 10 and eldest was in their 80's. All had plenty to eat and we were provided with boxes to bring home uneaten food. A little on the expensive side.

This is my favourite pub/eatery in Dublin and never fails to satisfy. Always busy but have never had to wait more than 10 minutes or so for a table. There are televisions all over the place, so you can watch the match without breaking your neck or being unattentive to your dining partner. Good menu choices to cater for all tastes. I'm a carnivore and this is meat heaven. The waiting-on staff are always full-on attentive and super chatty. They've now got to expecting a tube of starbursts, pack of skittles or some such as a cheeky little tip along with the gratuity. Gets us all sorts of cheek and banter and guarantees us a welcome next time.
