Three of us visited and were very pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff from beginning to end - Julija was excellent and had a sese of humour! We had a great variety of food to chose from and were delighted that there was an early bird selection of first class food - prawn pasta which was delicious, vegetarian stir fry and for me good old fish and chips! Excellent food well presented and plenty on the plates. Compliments to the chef - obviously knows what he/she is about. Place was quite busy and getting busier as we left, plenty of people who knew exactly what was available. Would highly recommend and will be returning sooner rather than later. Thanks to the staff.Thank you for your comments regarding your experience at the Black Bull Inn. We welcome all comments good or bad as it helps us to deliver a better dining experience for you the customer. Your comment will be passed on to our kitchen staff and your server.Regards

Hadn't been here in a few months but glad to see it's still a great joint! They serve breakfast all day on Sunday which is great..I had scrambled eggs , mushrooms, tomatoes and scrambled eggs..great sized portion and really delicious and fresh. They have added the chicken wings to the menu now which used to be just on the specials board from time to time. My daughter loves these! Huge portion again. My husband had the seafood pasta from the specials board and said it was fab. Packed with seafood. Chips with the wings, 2 coffees & an apple juice came to 48 euro. Good price for good grub !

We operate a strictly over 21s policy for food and drink. We advise if you're coming for either to bring ID regardless of age.
Went here for Christmas night out with friends. Was shocked when the food arrived out stacked in boxes, sauces in large plastic bottles and kitchen roll in the middle of the table. Very rough and ready and because there was no room on the table, we balanced the boxes on our lap. Food was tasteless and just cheap skinny chips. However, as a bar, the atmosphere was very good, cosy and nice festive decorations, staff were friendly and attentive. I would go again but definitely not for food, even Eddie Rockets is a step up from this.

We are slimming world and anytime we are in Drogheda we always dine here.A fantastic selection of home cooked food with excellent and friendly service. This time we popped in at lunch time and I had delicious red pepper soup and a Bruless BLT. My other half had salmon with stir fry vegetables and noodles. This was really tasty. Very reasonably priced. Oh how I would love if this restaurant was up home in Northern Ireland as eating out sometimes on the Slimming World plan can be more difficult. This menu even includes desserts that are all syned. The chocolate mousse is really good.Well done Bru. Can't wait to go back!!! Dear shelly-ann,Many thanks for such a lovely review of your meal experience with us at bru. As a Slimming World member myself for the last 6 yrs I totally understand the struggle to eat out " stay good " and not feel like you are on a diet. So I was delighted to hear that you both enjoyed your meal so much. We look forward to welcoming you both back to Drogheda again soon. The team @ bru

Had a lovely catch up with friends at this popular restaurant. We all opted for the tapas selections, different combinations for everyone but all equally delicious. Desserts were also well presented and very good!! The head waiter/Maitre D not really sure which, was less than friendly when he came to take our order, not exactly rude but not engaging with the customers, the same could be said for the waitress who presented the food, however we would probably return and thankfully our night wasnât spoiled by this. Last drinks in the bar in Woodrows and a totally different experience, the staff were so welcoming and friendly even tho it was the end of the evening!!

Shake Dog Diner is an exciting contemporary diner in Drogheda. We're open everyday Monday - Sunday and bankholidays.
I came here with my girlfriend for a casual meal. The waiter showed us to our table which definitely hadn't been properly wiped in a few days. Underneath our table was absolutely filthy also, littered with food and dirt. The waiter then took our order. The drinks we were given were cheap knock offs and were definitely not the brand which they claimed to be on the menu. Our food then arrived but with no cutlery, when we informed the waiter he rudely threw the cutlery onto the table. Our food was just about edible, although it was absolutely awful. I was so suprised to see how highly rated this restaurant was on TripAdvisor. I definitely would not recommend anyone to eat here. I will never come back again.
