I enjoyed my evenings at this bar. It is a diamond in the rough b/c the hotel is not great. Karen served a fine Guinness and was very helpful to offer whisky selections. Give it a try.

Visited Bradyâs Castleknock today and it was very good as usual. It has lots of free parking too. The surroundings are nice and comfortable and itâs child friendly. They offer a good choice of meals, sandwiches and snacks. Tea coffee and alcoholic beverages are available. Itâs a good place to visit for food.

Forchetta Italian Restaurant offers diners an excellent choice of international cuisines and is the location for unwinding, whether itâs after a hard days shopping at the Blanchardstown Centre or before going to the movies at the Odeon cinemas. Our pizza
Its a long time since I ate in a hotel restaurant where I was not staying over. So this was an unusual experience for me. One of our group had picked here for dinner. For a Saturday night the restaurant was virtually empty but I suppose not many people eat in a hotel restaurant these days unless they are staying over. As I was the only one not driving I ordered a pint of Guinness (â¬5.20). We decided to skip starters and go straight for the main course. We had the Tagliatelle (â¬16.50) which was plentiful and good value, the Prawn Risotto (â¬19.90) which my wife enjoyed and the Veal (â¬28.00) which was disappointing. The veal was 2 small pieces very well cooked and came with mash potatoes which was ok. For â¬28 I at least expected some vegetables and so I ordered the mixed salad on the side (â¬4.70) which was good and plentiful. We went for the Tiramisu which was good but not worth (â¬7.90), the Sorbet & Ice Cream (â¬6.50) which was good and a pot of tea for 1 at â¬3.50 wow!. I suppose these are Dublin prices but for me a tad expensive for what we got.

Award winning bar, restaurant & wedding venue in the Strawberry Beds. Live traditional music 7 nights a week.
Stopped for a lunch and I went for Fish & Chips. Itâs one of my favourite dishes so I was very confident that I was in for a treat with Wrights Anglers Rest. When the dish arrived I was still pretty confident. The beer batter looked nice and crunchy. Unfortunately when I cut into it I realised that the end piece had a very thin layer of very dry, stringy fish. I was still hopeful that this was possibly just the end piece and I would find better as I moved along the fillet. Not so, the entire piece of fish was a uniform thickness or probably I should say thinness. It was about 5mm thick and seemed to come from the belly flank of a large Cod or Hake (I couldnât be sure of the species). It tasted like a poorly rehydrated salted or dried stockfish. It came with an oyster shell portion of tartar sauce, crushed peas and a portion of chips all got â¬17.95. I was in a rush so I went ahead and ate what was edible. I mentioned my disappointment to the waitress and she was polite and apologetic and offered a coffee on the house.I hope the chef and whoever is responsible for purchasing take note, and have another look at the quality of the ingredients or perhaps the use of this product in a Fish & chips dish.Firstly thank you for your comments & please accept my sincere apologies that your meal was disappointing. As one of Dublins business restaurants we have relied on repeat customers along with recommendation to grow our business so successfully as we are off the beaten track. I can assure you that this is not the norm & Im sorry you didn't bring it to the attention of one of our staff members straight away so we could have replaced the dish for you. As part of the Wright group we pride ourselves in being able to offer our customers some of the very best seafood available. I have passed your comments on to our head chef & general manager to look into. Thank you once again for your feedback & I do hope that you will visit us again so that we can prove your experience is not the norm. Id love if you contact me directly if you choose to visit us again. Kind Regards, Jennie Grogan, [email protected]

Went on a return visit to Rudyâs this evening for my wifeâs birthday.Had a lovely Romanian Pinot Noir which was a little unconventional but on recommendation did not disappoint.Had the wings to start- delicious. Piping hot, lovely flavour. Two steaks for mains, mine medium, wifeâs medium rare- both cooked to perfection!Dessert was hard to fit in (!) but we had the sticky toffee which again was delicious.Service was attentive but not overbearing, ambience nice and busy but not too loud.I really donât have anything negative at all to say about this place and would highly recommend it. It was very reasonable and they clearly know what they are doing. I wish there was more of this in blanch. We will be back!

Delicious food served in salubrious surrounds with live music on weekends
A very authentic Italian. Family owned fir many years and as a consequence has great food and exceptional reputation. Itâs therefore v popular! It seemed a bit disorganised some people arriving later getting served first; menus but no wine list TIL asked but all worked out in the end. Quite a few children early evening.

We were made welcome immediately and so began a lovely experience. The place is spotless and spacious. The atmosphere is great. The staff are friendly and engaging and professional. The menu is well laid out and they offer Pasta, meat and fish and pizza options. They have 2 beers on draught and I think they should consider adding an Italian beer to their draught list. We really enjoyed our meals very much.I had the pasta Al Diavolo and was was well pleased. I was pleased with the bill. I want to go back again.Hi there,We are delighted you enjoyed your experience with us!As always, we love to get feedback from our customers, and we are looking forward to serving you again some time very soon! All the best,The team @Da Vinciâs.
