Tried this place on Saturday night. The venue is a very small so booking is probably necessary. The restaurant was busy when we arrived and even though it's tiny we had a table that was quite comfortable. The proximity of the next table wasn't off putting despite the size. The only negative was the table location which was by the door and the breeze from the opening door was cutting. The food was very good we got the mozzarella wrapped in Parma ham to start. It was really good, even though it comes with rocket which I dislike. But the mix with the balsamic vinegar was lovely. For mains we got the carbonara and the bolenese. These were lovely. My girlfriend is a coeliac and could get gluten free pasta which is great. I tried the carbonara and couldn't tell it was gluten free pasta. The bolognase was lovely. The only complaint was probably that there wasn't a little more of it. For dessert we got vanilla ice cream and the cannelloni special. Both were very good. All this came to around 60 with a drink and a coffee. Nice to have a good gluten free Italian option in the area.

Myself & my husband had another fantastic meal here last night .The food is just gorgeous. The chef/owner cooks everything from scratch nothing is prepared. This cosy restaurant only fits 20 people which make the ambiance just perfect. As a Skerries resident I want to let the general public know you will find it hard to get another restaurant like this one any where. Unfortunately it only open on a Friday & Saturday night for dinner but opens all week except Tuesday for breakfast & luches.

From the moment we were greeted, to heading out, our first dinner in Ireland was fabulous. We ordered the fish and chips, the chicken and potatoes, banoffie pie, a Guinness and an Irish coffee. Every bite, of every dish, was amazing. So much that, I've requested their recipe for the potatoes au gratin, the best I've ever eaten. Would give it more than a 5-star review, if possible.

located in what used to be called the LIFEBOAT
We decided to eat here with our dog in tow after seeing a little table outside. The staff were very happy to accommodate us even with our doggy and were attentive even though we were the only customers outside. We had chicken wings with a side of fries and the chicken and mushroom pappardelle. The pasta was delicious! I really enjoyed it. Prices were very reasonable too and portions were generous. I would definitely recommend a visit here if in Skerries. Thanks a million for the review hope to see you again soon

My husband and I had dinner in The Windmill last weekend, when we arrived the manager (I'm guessing?) wasn't very friendly, just pointed to our table and said "you're sitting over there on the corner table". Not being shown to the table was a bit odd and a bit cafe like. There were no menus on the table and they took a while to arrive. They were sitting closed on the table for a good ten minutes before our order was taken - the restaurant wasn't even half full at this stage - even though we had ordered drinks separately, no food order was asked for. When I ordered I was told the item I wanted had just run out (at 7pm on a Saturday night?) which was disappointing and we should have been informed of this before we started to order. The food was nice but nothing "wow", the steaks were perfectly cooked. The service was just so so slow, finished plates left on the table for ages even though all servers walked past out table multiple times, and just quite unprofessional if I'm honest, a far cry from our last visit to this restaurant, but I believe it is under new management. I felt bad not leaving a tip, but really to get one, the servers need to up their game.

At Ollies Place you can be guaranteed to find the perfect blend of exceptional food, great cocktails and an atmosphere that is second to none. Positioned in the center of Skerries, our menu has a casual bar feel, one which our locals love immensely. We're
We had a group of 10 people here for lunch, decor was really nice and seating and service was good. Menu are what you would normally expect with a mixture of seafood, burgers and pasta to name but a few. The Burger was good, average, nothing really great but good enough not to have any negative comments about. Had it with chips and salad. Pasta was very good, 3 of us had it and all said it was really nice. We had a couple of kids meals also and all of them were good. Service was good, got one order wrong , a mix up in the kitchen but didnt have a negative effect on the meal. I found it a bit expensive for what we had, but the staff made an effort to make sure our meal was enjoyable and the service was good.

Tapas restaurant with breathtaking views of the Skerries harbour. Great place to relax and unwind after a long day.We specialize in wide selection of delicious freshly homemade tapas, steaks, salads and seafood delivered daily.
Myself and my wife recently came across this restaurant. They do Spanish Tapas but also have a full standard menu. We opted for the two course special. For starters my wife had the Goatâa Cheese and I had the chicken wings both of which were very tasty. For mains we both had the chicken which came wrapped in bacon and was delicious with potatoes and mushroom sauce on the side. It was one of those lovely summer days so we sat outside and admired the lovely harbour view. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. I will be back and would definitely recommend.

Stoop Your Head was Joe's suggestion from The White Cottages B&B. He knows his stuff. My husband and I are foodies. He's a great cook, and we both know what excellent food is all about. We ate here twice having the scrumptious seafood chowder, cod, and hake I believe. All we had was delicious, and as I wrote, we returned for a second time. What more do you need to say? Thank you!

I've had four or five meals now in Libero's, some great, some lousy, and some on the spectrum in between. If I were to give a rating for the food alone I'd give it a 2.5, if there were such a rating, but this review is not about the food; it's about the wine. Over those meals we ordered everything on the short (about six) red wine list. We kept ordering different bottles each time as the wine was so consistently and unusually light there was clearly something wrong with it. We thought it was just maybe bad quality wine, and ordered two different bottles at the table one particular evening to try to get away from this watery wine. The wine at the last meal was the final straw. I'll never be back after that. We'd never ordered Rioja as it's so heavy it can interfere with the appetite - not this Rioja! It was as watery as the rest. In my opinion the wine in Libero's is deliberately watered down, which would explain why it was *never,* in our experience, opened at the table. If I am right - what a disgraceful way to treat their customers. If I am wrong (which I doubt) - my God - these people need to find a new place to order their wine. They'd need to start opening it at the table too, in the general tradition of honest and civilised restaurants. Please allow me to take this opportunity to thank you for your feedback. All comments, whether good or bad are essential to us in order to help improve our business.Upon reading your review which was entitled âBeware Libero's Water down The Wineâ I presume this title was for maximum shock factor, I would now like to address your points. You have pretty much branded me and my staff as cowboys who enjoy giving out watered down wine. Personally I find this accusation to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. You do however pose a few valid points which I would love the opportunity to address with you;*Firstly as you rated our food 2.5 my question to this is: If you have indeed visited our restaurant as often as you claimed and if you were indeed disappointed as often as you said you were, why on earth would you return to a restaurant with such mediocre food? Also, you stated that on 5 separate occasions you were not happy with your wine yet you did not make your feelings known to a member of staff on any of these occasions? I find this statement to be completely disingenuous*Secondly, you are correct in stating that our menu boasts only 6 Reds and 6 Whites. We also provide 2 types of sparkling wine, 1 Champagne and 1 Blush. The reason for this is that we are in fact quite a small family run restaurant so disappointingly, storage space isnât something we have on our side. However, we do try to give the best choice we possibly can.Red wine White Wine*Voci Cabernet sauvignon *Voci Sauvignon Blanc*Voci Merlot *Voci Pinot Grigio*J.Moreau & Fils Pinot Noir *Walnut block Marlborough Ridge*Besos De Cata Malbec *Wolfblass Chardonnay*Monologo Rioja *Louis Jadot Chablis*Voci Montepulciano *Swallows Tale Chenin BlancMy wine supplies come from reputable companies:âTindal wine merchantsââUnited winesâ who now work with Pallas FoodsâVoci Wineriesâ who are the main importers of our Italian reds.*Lastly I would love the opportunity to apologize to you if your bottle was not opened at the table for you; however, I can whole heartedly assure you that we once again DO NOT WATER DOWN OUR WINE. I do, however, take personal offence to this accusation as it is something that can severely damage and tarnish the reputation of a small, honest, family run business. I think this comment was made with the sole intention of damaging our reputation.Liberoâs Restaurant has been in business for 21years in Balbriggan and judging by the majority of positive reviews provided to TripAdvisor I am very confident that we are providing a good service to our customers. We have also built up a very good reputation for our highly sought after Wine tasting events which take place 3 times per annum. In my opinion a good reputation is not something that can be built through scamming people or indeed by knowing the right people. A good reputation is something that is built up through sheer hard work, dedication and good quality produce. On the subject of you never setting foot on the premises again, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you on behalf of all at Liberoâs.Once again I would like to thank you for your feedback. The Management.

Welcome to the Man O'War Bar and Restaurant, North County Dublin's most authentic Irish venue, established in 1595. With our thatched roof, whitewashed walls and superb traditional style bar, lounge & restaurant, our setting is a picture to behold. Set in
We haven't been here in years. It used to be very dirty but not anymore. The place is very, very clean. The barman was friendly and he also took our order down at our table. The soup cwas very good the chowder was good. The chicken burger utwas OK. As for the steak sandwich, it was supposed to be med, you might as well have been eating an insole. The Bun with it was like melba toast. Hopefully you will be a huge fan of onions because not only was there a hugh amount of cooked onions but more uncooked ones also. Another turn off was one of the staff chewing gum. Dea Janiel,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are really sorry to learn that you didn't have a positive experience here at Man O'War Pub. We value customer feedback and will ensure that this is passed onto our team. If we wish to contact us with further details , we can investigate it.Again, apologies you did not enjoy your time here.Man O'War
