Brought an elderly friend for breakfast and it was cooked fresh, food was great and the staff were most helpful, nothing was too much trouble as my friend has very poor sight everything was placed exactly where she needed it.This cafe used to be a bakery but now is just a cafe, but the young man who runs it is a member of the original family and takes a keen interest in keeping the family name important. We will be back very soon.

Having been to vanilla pod in Blackrock and really enjoying it, I was looking forward to trying Carrickmines. We tried it on a Sunday afternoon at a time it wasn't overly busy. The staff were friendly but mostly interested in chatting between themselves, there was 5 staff members regularly chatting amongst themselves. Went to use the restroom, which was very grubby, clearly not been cleaned and there was no inspection sheet on the door so there was no way of knowing when it was last cleaned. The food was fine but nothing special. On leaving the staff did not make any eye contact, did not thank us for our business and were too busy chatting to notice in any event. I wouldn't rush back.Hi Madmum123,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we are glad that your overall experience was enjoyable, we apologise that the experience you received during your last visit fell short of what you expected. As you can see from previous reviews, this is not a regular occurrence. We are continually improving our customer service so thank you for pointing this out. We take reviews like yours seriously and we will look into this matter immediately. We still hope that you would give us another chance and pay us a visit again.Kind regards,The team @ Vanilla Pod Eatery

From start to finish the service was exceptional. You could tell this place is managed really well and everyone was doing a good job. The decor is very instagramable. The breakfast was delicious and very filling. It tasted healthy and not greasy which was good. We wanted to come back the next morning it was so good but itâs not opened on Sundayâs unfortunately. I would highly recommend Maison Moli for breakfast and if Iâm in Bray again I will be stopping by for definite.

Regularly stop here for coffee. Busy little spot but plenty of seating and great friendly service. Big selection of food from Breakfast to Cakes even has Guinness and Carlsberg Beer on Tap. Nice views from the rear out area and always a good atmosphere. Plenty of parking.

We have been coming to the GattaNera cafe for several years, and it is one of our favourite places in Bray. The cafe is situated in a lovely little lane-way, The Albert Walk, a minute's walk from Bray station; and the bustling and bohemian vibe of this little street is a perfect setting for this cosy and usually bustling cafe. For a quick coffee and a panini, there is nowhere better: the coffee is consistently great, and the paninis are all freshly made with delicious ingredients. Whilst the cafe serves coffee, wine and snacks into the evening at the weekend, they also occasionally put on special dining nights; and if you get a chance to go to one of these I would highly recommend doing so - the food served is always interesting and delicious.

Tucked away in the middle of Bray Harbour, you'll have to look closely to find Dockyard No.8 but you will be more than rewarded once you do. This is a top class breakfast, brunch, lunch and bistro spot that boasts an ever changing and innovative menu. Exp

Dropped in here in September for a bite. Foods was fresh, tasty and plentiful and the girl attending us was very friendly and helpful. It was busy when we were there but it still wasn't noisy, I could have sat there all day. The atmosphere was very relaxed maybe because of the people just chilling out the all the girls working there seemed to be working like bees behind the scenes. Will certainly visit again when we are back in the area. A little gem of a place.

Since new Avoca ownership, portions are smaller and more expensive. Paid â¬9.75 for stuffed baked potato without salad that was over re-heated and dry. Such a shame as this was a regular haunt. Will be enjoying the views/gardens then eat at poppies in the village.Hi there,Thank you very much for visiting Avoca, and for taking the time to leave your review. We regret you did not enjoy your experience with us.
