You can easily shoot past this place. Itâs 5 minutes from the ferry port, but if, like us, you are staying overnight in the area to catch the early boat, definitely give this place a visit. First and foremost, itâs a pub. Separate bar and lounge. Lounge had a warming fire going. But it does a fair selection of bar meals. Not a massive menu, which to me is a good sign. But enough choice to tempt most diners. I had one of the most tasty, succulent chicken dishes I think Iâve ever had. If you like your chips thick and chunky, this place is for you. Cut with an axe. They were great. All 4 meals we had were hearty, filling and warming. Just what you want on a chilly day after a long day on the road. Mary was working both bar areas, plus the food from the kitchens and she did a great job. Welcoming, helpful and efficient. Definitely worth a stop over. It isnât classic dining but if you want tasty, hearty food in a traditional pub with a warm welcome, then donât go any further. This place is for you.

Had food here many times over the last few years. Last dinner we had here was tasty and hearty but we found that the prices are gone a bit expensive. Usually a very reasonable price.

This Traditional Irish old style Bar, actually a Night Club in Wexford. Had a lunch there on last week. I often eat fish because is a really healthy food and packed with nutritious ingredients. So, I had Fish of the Day which was Cod Goujons. Fish made to order, cooked perfectly but the hand-cut fries was not cooked properly. The service was good and hospitable. There is a lovely garden behind the pub so you can sit outsideand relax during warmer months.Finished my lunch with a cup of herb tea.Generous portion and good price. /14.85 eu/

Very popular place opposite the Church just 100 yards up from the harbour. Food mainly fresh seafood and very good, no complaints, except that the kitchen closes at 8.00pm. I find myself once again pointing out to owners issues of undercharging!!! Everyone will point out overcharges but in my experience, we are more often undercharged than otherwise. On this occasion, we were not charged for the drinks we had at the bar before sitting down at our table!!!By the way - not my observation - the LADIES LOO needs serious attention!

After arriving at hotel a couple hours earlier we decided to get food in the hotel bar. The food was delicious and definitely recommended we had the slow cooked beef & burger & chips, price slightly above average but very tasty all the same. Only negative was from a smart ass barman David who had a disparaging attitude when I asked him to put the sound on, slightly, for a champions league semifinal game, the one which Spurs came from behind to qualify

Found our usual dinner venue closed after leaving the Rosslare Ferry. Drove straight on past the turn off for Waterford towards Wexford and its just on the right. Plenty of parking and pleasant modern interior. Service was prompt friendly and professional from the young servers. The meals were tasty and good value. Particularly enjoyed the ' Chowder' starter.

I am livid. Easter weekend I tried to dine here with friends. Was made to feel so uncomfortable from the minute we stepped inside. The manager was so unaccommodating, and split us into tables of two!? Said that he was doing us a favor to even sit us at all!! Absolute pig ignorance! Itâs so rare to find customer service as bad as this these days. So bad, that another customer - a local - who was leaving, came up to us and sympathized with the way we were treated, saying âthe way he spoke to us was unacceptableâ

Two of us dropped in for an early lunch. The bar was already full so we took a table in the back that is not as atmospheric, but serves the purpose. The food was very good and service attentive.Children friendly, so take that whatever way you like!
