From Georgina Campbell's Ireland GuideThis restaurant has been Irelandâs benchmark Chinese restaurant for two generations, and is a previous recipient of this award. It should in perhaps be named The Phoenix as, not long after moving to new premises, this

I went to this wonderful restaurant today. I am not a vegetarian but ordered a spicy kimchi vegetable ramen soup and I was truly blown away. This place knocked it out of the park !!! They use good vegetables like tender stem broccoli and bok choy, seasoned eggs, spring onions and micro greens in the most delicious gourmet broth. The noodles are made in house and they taste soooooo good. Portions are huge. The flavour is amazing. Well done. I can't wait to go back the the rest of my family. I felt good after I ate here -- mentally, physically and spiritually.

This was my first time in this restaurant and it was a Monday evening, so it was quiet. The food was very good as well as the service.

Lovely food and I had a Korma which was particularly nice. The food was very tasty and not over hot which was a relief. They do a thriving takeaway business too. Would certainly recommend it

What a gem this tiny restaurant is. Getting a table can be a challenge but well worth the effort. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and excellent in every way!The menu is a single price for 3 courses (30.50). Starters were delicious but star of the show was the curry tasting dish. Small portions of chicken, lamb, vegetable, dal, spinach (highlight for me) , rice and bread. Two lovely deserts to follow finishing off a very memorable meal.

I have passed by this restaurant many times and always tempted! Recently I booked with some friends and would certainly recommend. The cuisine is more from North India and the restaurant is located on one of the quieter streets in Dun Laoire - parking therefore shouldn't be a problem. The services is excellent and welcoming. We had a table in the window with very comfortable chairs. The "on the house" appetisers were fabulous! The menu is very extensive! Be sure to order a prosecco or a beer to give you time to browse! The shared starters were a little overdone but that can happen. The mains were delicious.Great find - we will be back. Thanks for the great review Dervilla ! I really appreciate for taking your time to share your experience online. We look forward to serve same standard of quality food and service for many years to come

Was delighted when a Indian take out/restaurant /delivery opened locally...gave me the chance to get my partner to try some flavorsome food...started him off with the korma and then the masala and even as far as the jal fraizi...it was out weekly delivery treat and alone with a naan and rice did us two nights dinner...In the last few months we noticed food was arriving cold ,giving it the benefit of the doubt ..then noted that the portions ,not so much sauce and naan bread etc but the protein ,chicken went from about 12 medium sized chunks to 7 smaller chunks ...again we gave it the benefit of the doubt, our last order about 1-2 months ago arrived by Deliveroo cyclist, usually was a lovely driver, and again was freezing cold...having to microwave our delivery again has put us off ordering ...sad to say as it was a lovely treat at the end of the working week ,hopefully we will try again and not have to microwave
