Piccola Osteria nel centro di Lecce accogliente e molto intima. Si possono degustare piatti tradizionali sia di terra e sia di mare. Tutto rigorosamente preparato dalla Chef Lina con tanta Passione Cura e Amore.
Worth the walk to try this exemplary local restaurant. I booked by email and Adriano was quick to respond. Friendly welcome and a great balance between warm hospitality and professional formality. Particularly enjoyed the selection of plates 'from the garden'. the wine recommendations were also excellent.

The place was beautiful with a lovely garden from which you can see the greek ruins nearby. We had typical starter that had both fish and meat, but not impressive in terms of savour. We went for a pizza which was good and had a local beer from a "birrificio" in Lecce (a bit expensive though). Service was overall good and quick, but we were not offered the home made rosolio like all the other customers around us. Probably because they thought we were speaking english and we wouldn't notice they were offering to all the other tables.

This little corner piadini joint bristles with energy, an infectious buzz and a lively, laid back feel, thanks to the cheery, good humoured chefs who take pleasure in serving up wholesome, tasty tucker. The vegan kebab was scrummy, consisting of homemade seitan, diced roast potatoes, onions and mixed salad, packed into a piadina, a kind of flatbread cooked on a griddle. The veggie piadini, including rapini, a slightly bitter but flavoursome and highly nutritious local vegetable and mashed avocado, was equally good and certainly 'hit the spot'. Grab a couple of beers and either sit out on the wooden benches, if you're lucky, or just plonk yourself down in the piazza and contentedly watch the world go by.
