Being in Italy is itself wonderful & eating Pizza in Italy is amazing but eating pizza in La Conceria is fantastic .... Best ever Pizza of my life, i travel italy so often & been travelling for some years & had been to many restaurants but while i was in Galatina i enjoyed evening in La Conceria & above all special thanks to the owners who take care of their customers need very well. Will be coming back always while in Galatina, highly recommended.

We had intended to go to another restaurant but it was full, which was our good fortune, because it meant we discovered this excellent restaurant/wine bar. The staff were welcoming and knowledgable ... The chef came out to explain what his specials were. We close the musisca, which was excellent...tender and tasty. The wine list is extensive and can get a bit pricey, but we chose from the less expensive wines and the quality was very good. We went back later on during our holiday and we were not disappointed. Unfortunately, Italy were playing Germany in the Euros so we dined alone! But on our first visit the restaurant was pleasantly full and there was a good atmosphere.

I shall write the review in English as it might help those vagabonds. For starters the place feels like one of those restaurants that winds you back to 30-40 years back. The young waiters are nice,well-mannered, sometimes a bit too eager (they whisked the plate away even before we finished licking the plate clean) but you feel comfortable.The patio is marvelous with grapes hanging down and the portions are well more than one can eat. Food very fresh the pasta was amazing!They speak a bit of English( my friend was French) but I can't vouch for their english as I'm italian but i can definitely say that with your eyes closed you'll end up having some quite well cooked, definitely mouthwatering seafood.Salve, sono Andrea, il proprietario della struttura ed addetto alle pubbliche relazioni.Grazie per la bella recensione e per esserci venut a trovare, spero di rivederla nuovamente a cenare ancora da noi!!Cordiali saluti, Andrea

Trovandoci vicino Nardò decidiamo di trascorrere la serata in questo bellissimo paese.....passeggiando per il centro storico notiamo questa braceria in una piazza....con tavoli all'esterno....decidiamo di fermarci...veniamo accolti molto bene!!! Menù che varia tra carne e pesce...noi ordiniamo i fiori di zucca un orrosto misto...le bombette e un un'involtino di agnello...con patatine fitte e un litro di vino rosso...per finire uno spumone....tutto buonissimo carne di buona qualità . Prezzi super si mangia bene e si paga poco!!!

Came here with a group of friends who live nearby - I had been to Secli before and was keen to try this restaurant I had heard so much about. They are famous for horse meat, do great starters (typical ones but also slightly different and more modern/creative/innovative ones - I really liked the onions in milk!) and if you come in summer, you can sit outside on the terrace which is on a little square. Probably best to book a table as this restaurant is very popular.

Went for Sunday lunch with local friends from Sannicola who know the owner and his family. The food was excellent, the wine from the owner's family's winery went great with the food. The large garden with palm trees is lovely. really slow amateur service ,I think its a family thing , to be honest useless, waiting 45 minutes , pizza when finally arrived we were sleeping nearly, so in my opinion avoid but was told this was a one off, the pizzeria was half empty, there's better places,pizza was decent by the way

In an alley off the main square, the unique selling point is that the restaurant had a butchers attached and the meat was good but I thought expensive compared to other places locally. What I didnât like was the alley where you sit smelt strongly of urine. There had been a concert nearby the day before and I wondered if the area was used a toilet. The staff were aware of the problem but seem resigned to it. I also thought the service was a bit hit and miss. Not the best place we visited in Nardò

There is a genuine buzz and enthusiasm from the staff here that is a real credit to them. Along with a super helpful english speaking waitress we had an outstanding meal. The antipasti was all delicious, followed by pastas and meat you cooked to you own liking and accompanied by superb local wines......it does not get better apart from the pannacotta which was divine....OMG! We had about 8 taster/ starter , 4 main meals including a huge cut of beef, 4 desserts, 2 big bottles of water , 2 bottles excellent red wine, 2 fizzies, 1 lemoncello..128 euro. A similar quality meal at home would exceed 300 euro easily.
