Premetto che vengo da un posto dove il pesce viene pescato fresco e servito sulle tavole ancora vivo con tutto il suo profumo del mare e pertanto non pretendo che in una localitá di montagna ci si trovi un alimento cosi delicato ancora fresco nel piatto, ma a tutto c'è un limite.... sebbene il posto permetta di vedere un bellissimo panorama, il resto una totale delusione.... appena entrati l'odore dell'ambiente di pessimo gusto, gli antipasti caldi e freddi ce li hanno gia fatti trovare sul tavolo e non sapevano di nulla, i primi scotti e senza sapore conditi con prodotti ittici inequivocabilmente congelati...come per esempio il riso ai frutti di mare sembrava colla, i secondi di pesce arrosto se sono abbondanti si tratta di pesce congelato se sono freschi sono pochi... scampi e gamberi non si scollavano dal guscio. Insomma ho fatto una figuraccia visto che avevo invitato anche un'altra copia di amici.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. A clean and elegant interior design with good music playing. I came with my wife and daughter for dinner. We had the chefs course... which included appetizers, fish and shrimp. Tomato gnocchi for my daughter. For dessert we had a Italian style chocolate lava cake. Everything was delicious. The staff provided great service. I recommend this spot for a nice night out.

It was our first visit to Reale so we decided to do the 10 course tasting menu with wine pairing. This way we could experience some of the Chef's favorite dishes and utilize his wine knowledge for pairings. We would recommend this approach. The next time we visit we decided we would each select three or four different dishes from the main menu, that way we can try some of the dishes that were not on either tasting menu. There were several dishes we wished we could try. We also decided that we probably would purchase wines off of the wine list rather than going with the pairing suggestions. In our opinion some of the pairings just did not work for us. The wine list is very long and we saw several wines we would like. So I think the next time, yes we will be back, we will order a bottle of white and a bottle of red off the wine list. This is a good restaurant. The dishes are very creative and the chef lets the natural flavors of the food perform by themselves without using too much spices and seasonings. We enjoyed our visit very much! Tip - because the restaurant is small - only about ten tables, reservations are a must. And since it will probably be a late night, consider staying in one of their nine rooms upstairs from the restaurant. Very nice, and they serve you a wonderful breakfast!

We had a fantastic dinner. The owners cooked all the food and took us on a tour of the restaurant. The basement has a great bar with handmade furniture and old tools. The view from the outside veranda is breathtaking. We loved this restaurant!
