The food here is amazingly good, considering the location and the small size of the kitchen. I recommend to try the polenta with wild boar (cinghiale), but everything else is equally good. However if you do not book expect to wait a long time to be seated. Very good house wines.

Posto consigliato!

Cristine is a great chef serving the best of the local Italian kitchen. Very tasteful and everyday suprising. Not à la carte but chefs choice. Not one choice but multiple antipaste, prime, secondy and dolce. All delicious. Highly recommended and worth to drive some extra kilometers.

The restaurant is really nice and cozy , here you can taste typical food such as pasta hand made with truffle, wild mushrooms, artichoke , local meat , I really enjoyed tagliata with truffle and lardo, very good was the dessert "sbriciolata " with custard and berries , instead the tiramisu was not so great.

This is the oldest family-run restaurant in the village (founded in 1950) and we are therefore very proud! We serve typical local food, prepared with care and passion. You will feel at home in our restaurant, which is located in the very center of the mai
Nice little restaurant, make sure you book a table because sometimes they do not open for dinner. The food is nice but used to be better especially the first courses.Hello Mr. StegoforoThank you so much for taking the time to share your experience at our Restaurant with other travellers here on Tripadvisor, we are happy you had a pleasant stay. We hope you will come back soon to visit us and, if so, we also hope you'll try some other of our first courses (for example the polenta's or the delicious tagliolini with saffron and porcini mushrooms), and we'll do our best to make you miss the "old" restaurant a bit less :-)Thanks again for stopping by, ARRIVEDERCI!La Fiorita

I was there for the dinner of a friend, she should be pleased that I took my dog, but a very young petit brunette waitress stopped me soon saying that they did not accept dogs. Now, in Italy law allow dogs in the restaurants so I asked her why not. She promptly said that there was a regional law that permitted to the owners of not admitting dog. I told her that there was the Decreto Presidente della Repubblica 1954 n° 234 that allowed the pets in restaurants. She answered drily that her colleague was a lawyer and that I could ask her... I was there with friends so I stopped. The food is nothing special and portions are smaller than average in that area. Prices looked to me a bit too high, they try to invent new dishes but I think they should stick to typical products and meals of that area that is rich of traditional dishes.

The space has a lot of style, well furnished and designed with style. The service is carried with love and attention to the customers.Among these mountains, it is very hard to find a restaurant which doesn't try to fit into the stereotype of the rustic, mountaineer&hunters. Campacavallo is maybe the only one in the area and this is remarkable.Unfortunately, Its cuisine could be better. They try to mix local ingredients with more Mediterranean recepies but the outcome is not enough to be satisfyng. Its cucine is stuck mid-way and it lacks identity. That said, generally speaking the food is good and is a great alternative to the average menu you can find around.Ps: they should change their olive oil supplier, it is too heavy and doesn't perform well at cooking temperature!!!
