Artistic camping for tents, campers and caravans, with four bedrooms, in central Italy (Abruzzo), 70 km from Rome.
This Agriturismo is just delightful. Our room (raspberries) so quaint and quiet. Pillows and bed very comfortable. The large variety of animals was fun to see, especially the rabbits hopping around the grounds. Mountains surround this valley location - so gorgeous! The food - wow! Surprisingly diverse for such a small place. And the staff were very efficient and friendly. Last but it least, the metal works and decor was super fun to discover. Won’t hesitate to return for a longer stay!

Ampia sala banchetti. Ampia possibilità di attività all'aperto nei percorsi dislocati all'interno del parco e di frequentazione delle serate a base di prodotti tipici organizzati nei limitrofi borghi medievali. IL LUOGO IDEALE PER COLORO CHE AMANO LA NATURA,LE LUNGHE PASSEGGIATE TRA CASCATE E VECCHI SENTIERI, IMMERSI NELLA RISERVA NATURALE "ZOMPO LO SCHIOPPO", OPPURE SOLTANTO PER CHI è ALLA RICERCA DI MOMENTI DI PURO RELAX
The location is perfect for nature lovers seeking for the beauty of the Abruzzo Mountains, forests and waterfalls. This is perfect only if you know what to expect, a cottage more than a hotel! The rooms are clean but very basic. Small parking behind the hotel. Nice food, local dishes, prepared by the host. Mind this is agriturismo not a classic restaurant. Recommended for those who want something different in an small Italian village with no architectural attractions but in a wonderful natural reserve away from city noise traffic and dust.

My family and I stayed here in July 2021. We had a hard time deciding where to stay in Abruzzo, but we chose brilliantly! We absolutely loved everything at Statale 17! Franco and Giusi treated us like family. From great food to afternoon apertivi outside to the lodging itself, we couldn't have asked for more. The apartment they provided (a two-bedroom with an extra bed) was perfect for our family of five, and the location was great to explore this area of Abruzzo, including Gran Sasso. The food was awesome! We especially loved the ceci (chickpeas), which was a revelation to me, because these are something I am totally ambivalent about in the U.S. We brought several bags home with us. One night we also had pizza from the pizzeria on the property, and it was also excellent - maybe even the best we had in Italy. Franco and Giusi went out of their way to make us comfortable. They spoke English so our really bad Italian didn't have to suffice. They recommended food and hikes. We didn't want to leave, and we will definitely be back. We just can't say enough good things about this agriturismo. Our stay on this working farm was among the highlights of our two-week stay in Italy. We can't wait to go back!

Many thanx for the warm welcome and friendly welcome. Cosy Farm with lots of animals. Fantastic setting in the middle of the mountains. A nice&quiet Night and a good breakfast. Simon is a fantastic host and we were wondering how to manage all the animals.

Nice location and views, situated in a beautiful rural area. Very pleasant and welcoming hosts, although none speaks English. Rooms are nice and clean. Apart from eggs made to order, the breakfast was rather poor and disappointing, hardly any homemade products, nothing you would expect from a place that has the words "agriturismo" in its name... Wi-fi reception in the room was very bad, almost non existent. One has to walk to the lobby to get a signal.

a very laid-back family (almost "wild") is welcoming the guests here ...far from the touristic routes very familiar place with traditional food prepared with local products and good wine. homemade bread with a "special" flour.
