The restaurant offers a great choice of pizzas, pasta and local dishes all freshly prepared and very tasty. Free tapas served with the drinks orders so no need for starters. Portions are very good and the family are so friendly. Prices are probably around half of what we'd expect to pay in UK and it is good to mix with the locals who dine here.

We eat at this restaurant frequently and always take our visitors here for a meal. Without exception we have always had superb meals here and this restaurant is without doubt the best in this area. The restaurant itself is very attractively decorated. We normally have the menu del dia at â¬9 which offers a good selection, which changes on a daily basis. Jose, the chef, was trained in Italy and makes superb lasagne and cannelloni and other pasta dishes. The starters that he offers include lasagne, cannelloni, melon with serano ham, delicious home made soups, summer salad and other spanish and italian delights depending on the season. Mains include pork solomio, steaks, sword fish, seabass, lamb chops and various chicken dishes. All are normally served with fresh vegetables and potatoes. A good selection of desserts is also offered. Jose´s food is always beautifully presented and delicious. It is incredible value for money.Jose is also very inventive with his tapas, served before the meal when a glass of wine or beer is ordered. Pizzas are normally only served in the evening and on a Sunday. They have a lovely thin base and are made in the pizza oven behind the bar.I highly recommend this restaurant for good home cooking.The restaurant is located on the Pozo Alcon to Castril road. It is about a 10 minute drive from Pozo Alcon and is located just past Restaurant Klm 7 on the left hand side of the road and before the Camp Site. It is closed on a Wednesday.

En general en Pozo Alcón, los precios son más bajos que en cualquier ciudad y, a esto, hay que añadir que con la consumición te dan una pequeña tapa. Tiene buenas raciones, recomendar el bacalao frito, y si te van las pizzas, aquà las tienes caseras, de base fina.
