We ate at this restaurant twice. We were served more food than we could eat and we loved all that was served . The melenzana with tuna (eggplant) was to die for. The full 3 course meal included a bottle of wine and cost only 50 euros for 2 (at the time of our visit). Compared to restaurants in Rome, this restaurant is a treasure to be discovered. We look forward to going back to my husband's home town. We will definately patronize Mauro's Azienda for more memorable meals.

à un bar dove si può anche mangiare senza pretese, quindi alla buona ma è da visitare per chi ha molta fame, le porzioni sono abbondantissime ed i prezzi molto contenuti.

I've been to this restaurant quite a few times with family and friends when visiting family in the Molise region. The restaurant is well worth a visit. Unpretentious, it's down-to-earth (as its name suggests) and boasts traditional, rustic local Italian cuisine with a variety of dishes, from pasta to pizza and beyond, to suit all tastes. It's located pretty much on a hairpin bend on a tight little road up in the Mainarde mountains in the Molise region about 15 mins past Colli a Volturno and close to Scapoli. The delicious food is well-complemented by the lovely scenic drive into the mountains simply to get to the restaurant.

A bit out of the way but very worth making the effort. We were recommended by a Scot living in the area who came with us and organized the menu and wine selection, all of which was excellent as was the waiter who was very helpful and efficient. If in the area again we would not hesitate to go back. It was a bit quiet on the lunchtime that we went but there was 15 of us so the atmosphere wasn't a problem.

Storica pizzeria - braceria situata alle pendici delle Mainarde, nel paesino di Colli a Volturno, a pochi chilometri dalle maggiori localita' sciistiche di Abruzzo e Molise.
For a late family 'last supper' (I was leaving to come back to the UK next day), my cousin took me to this pizza restaurant where we bought a whole load of different take-away pizze for the whole family awaiting us back in Montaquila. This (modern-looking) restaurant is in a nice setting below the historical village/town of Colli a Volturno. Service was good and the pizza even better. Recommended.

Food and wine selections are amazing! Fresh homemade foods with amazing flavors. I wish we had this at home. Amazing food for a very reasonable price. Best value in the area. Turtufo pasta, chicken, steak, desert, wine...all spectacular. And the owner is such a nice guy. I wish we came here sooner so that we can come back again.

Constantini has earned its awards with fresh, flavorful, abundant, authentically prepared food. We stumbled into its yard while out on a walk and were warmly welcomed. The pasta was freshly made and seasoned to delight. The antipasti were novel to us and of a huge variety. The second was lamb chops, sausage, potatoes, and mushrooms. We finished with a dessert plate of delicious cookies and tiramisu, and added a little espresso. We were well treated and attended to.

We showed up at the door shell-shocked from a long drive, and not expecting much up in the mountains. Then we met Adele and the owner, whose name I did not catch. He did not speak English, but he was very nice and a great cook. Everything was excellent.

The restaurant is at the end of a short winding road hidden from the main road. It has a beautiful view from the outside towards the mountain and valley. Inside, it was cozy and nicely but simply decorated. Menu was great and had lots of offerings. The chef spoke good english and personally came out to help us order our dishes. Food was very nice and service was fantastic. I had the ghitara which was really tasty and fresh, and served with some of the tastiest and spiciest chilli you can find in Italy. I highly recommend this restaurant.
