The place is nice and the service correct. I ordered the spare ribs: even though they were deep fried !!! and not grilled, they tasted acceptable, but if announced as a 450 gr portion, I got maybe the half of it. My wife ordered a hamburger, of very average quality. To resume: BETTER AVOID THE PLACE. The ribs ARE NOT deep fried!! And the portion is 400g raw!!!!! Sometimes are 4 ribs, sometimes 5!!!You wanted shade and we created a Shaded table but you wife wanted a Sunny One so you took One table each.1 star over 5 is not for an average meal.To resume: better not comment if you don't know what you're doing.

Great coffee (macchiato, cappuccino), great pizza slices and typical for the area pasqualina with spinach rice and ricotta cheese! Very reasonable prices and the atmosphere is very nice and italian (read, not touristicky!). 2 slices pasqualina, 3 slices pizza, macchiato and cappucino 10â¬.We visited Madamadore many times within a few days and it always delivered!

Went to Klaus's bar 4 nights out of 6 as hotel was very quite.Had been recommended by friends after their trip to Diano.Only Klaus serving, cleaning, taking orders most nights, daughter seemed to helped some nights. He is a bit of a joker. Obviously the German tourists find him and are well represented most nights, but apparently lots of Italian locals use this bar as well.My wife and I enjoyed the beer and wine, plus possibly the best capaccino we tasted whilst in Diano. Not many seats or tables so go early,as most who were seated stayed all night.

We were looking for a drink before dinner. The 900 is right on the main tourist street, corso Roma, very busy area with lots of bars, shops and tourists, very few Brits! We sat outside, inside was empty, the drinks were fine, and as is usual in this area food comes free. It is mainly pizza but with some bits and is very acceptable, some people have three rounds of drinks with the freebie food an skip dinner! Good location , good atmosphere and not expensive, but not special.

This restaurant has a sort of Medieval them, which doesn't quite work. The staff are in cotton shifts with a St George cross on, and the food might have been great for big meat-eaters but left us with little choice. Not cheap, either!Sorry for my bad English, I am Emilio the owner of Ai Secoli Bui. I think it is difficult to satisfy all tastes of our customers, usually people come to us for the actual quality of the meat, our strength! we do however also appetizers, soups, pasta, pizza, focaccia and something fish. The price of our meat is directly proportional to the high-quality of the proposal. We hope to have you for our guests to try to make you change your mind on our work.

Definitely improving over the years, Candidollo offers magnificent views from a spacious covered terrace in an ancient olive mill. Downstairs an array of traditional implements and machinery is on show, and you can peep inside the kitchen through a glass door. The set menu consists of a great number of small antipasti (appetisers), two or three tastings of primi (first courses) and a couple of secondi (main courses), followed by a dessert selection. Water and wine - both white and red - are replenished as soon as the bottles are empty, and bread baskets are always at hand. All the dishes are freshly prepared on the premises according to traditional methods, attractively laid out and kindly presented by the efficient, smiling staff. The antipasti were all noteworthy; among the first courses we particularly enjoyed the tagliolini in a wild mushroom sauce and for the main courses the wild boar stewed in a rich wine sauce was heavenly. All home made desserts were delicious. A minus: both house wines were a very poor match for such a sumptuous dinner. We ordered some excellent white Vermentino and red Rossese from the region, to go with the food. Also the bread was very ordinary and rather stale. To sum it up, a great dinner which could have been deserved top marks, if only.
