Finding excellent food at reasonable prices in delightful settings is a rarity on both the French and Italian Rivieras. At 'Le Cinque Torri' you have all three with a friendly, natural service to boot.Located in Civezza, a charming Ligurian village just north of San Lorenzo al Mare, this family-run restaurant offers homemade cooking with unbeatable value for money. Even the ice-cream is homemade. The wine is very reasonably priced and the house wine is quite quaffable. If you happen to be passing through this part of the Italian Riviera 'Le Cinqe Torri' is well worth a halt.

We looked at TridAdvisor ranking again...And we had again a great dinner! My caramelle allo scoglio were delicious! Home-made and very original! The fritto di paranza arrived hot, crunchy and not salty! It's a must there!A special comment for Stephanie, chef's wife and waiter.... great work and nice personality! We really enjoyed dinner with you, Stephanie!I really suggest this place for a dinner... the terrance, in the middle of the village, facing one side mountains and on the other the amazing carrugi!

Popped in for a late lunch whilst en route to the Italian Lakes. The restaurant had just finished its main lunch service, but we were nevertheless welcomed by the very friendly staff. Excellent pasta and an outstanding veggie lasagne. Well worth a quick diversion off the motorway!

At few meters from the sea, a tipical ligurian restaurant. In this restaurant you can find tipical and caracteristic dishes but also revisited plates. In the winery you can discover wines from all Italy.
We drove down the wrong street in search of another restaurant in town and happened to stop in front of this one. We were able to get a good glance inside and decided to park the car and return to read the menu. The selections looked fine and the prices seemed reasonable. The owner greeted us as we entered and mentioned that they were not yet open for another 30 minutes. The great aroma as we walked in was the deciding factor for us. The chef/owner took care of us himself and helped select starters, and then a pasta and fish dish along with a local wine. We were so wonderfully pleased with his own creations and thoroughly enjoyed the other courses as well as the wine. Excellent quality, great ambiance, and reasonable prices along with very nice service. What more could one desire????

Following the âOsterie dâItaliaâ we were looking for this very decent restaurant. We followed the chefs recommendation and ordered the three course âmenue terroirâ of special Ligurian cuisine. Trofie with Pesto genovese, filled rabbit, traditional dessert .... thatâs how normal it sounds. But in real it is the most pure, delicious and breathtaking food one can imagine. Surrounded by the perfect match Pigato and a proud smile of chef Andrea as soon as he watches you enjoying his masterpieces of culinary art. Andrea - we got the point and say GRAZIE MILLE for an unforgettable diner experience at your restaurant!

A clean unpretentious local eatery which serves a great selection of pasta. Worth checking out, not as fancy as some of the others with outdoor seating, but the welcome is genuine and food generous and good. We had the spaghetti vongoli -the clams were sweet and fresh & a putenesca with a bottle of House wine and weâre content! The lady of the house will do her best to make this a memorable drop in!

We have been looking forward to trying Osteria Didu for a long time. On a Sunday afternoon, it is packed with locals enjoying their weekend Pranzo. The atmosphere is simple (paper place mats and napkins on the equivalent of Formica tables.) The prices are modest and the dishes favor the thriftier market selections such as sardines and cuttlefish and filling pasta dishes. The service is friendly and efficient. Their wine selection is fairly extensive and not merely bargain bottles. The kitchen is skillful and has a wide repertoire. All and all, a good place to know about when you are in or near Imperia. Perhaps I was not as impressed as I hoped to be, but willing to give them another try.

Historic restaurant recently renovated. The restaurant Lanterna Blu offers tasting menu. A table reservation is obligatory, so you need to book in advance. No credit card payments accepted.
Visited with my family and had high expectations given the many positive reviews. The experience was however less than the sum of its parts. Whilst there was little wrong with the food it was nothing special. A set menu of fried calamari to start cheese with anchovies and tuna tartar for middle and a huge plate of pasta with a small half of lobster for main isn't fine dining or anything out of the norm. It was all done at a bit of a rush also, we were in and out in an hour and 15 mins. Not one to repeat. At my question if you all had any food allergies or intollerances, you answer with a noisy spamming in your belly: " look at me: do I look like?" This is also neither fine introducing nor very special. Looking at your reviews, you are certainly a good story teller, but little liar too... The lobster looked smaller because, as from your personal " introduction" and the whole family-sizes decided to cook Little pasta more. Restaurant was fullybooked, and if you were server in high season in one hour and half, I consider this a great goal and service. Have a good Life, you need It. Massimo

It seems that Da U Titti has no Michelin star simply because Michelin experts donât go too far from main roads. The cuisine is fantastic. The incredible mixture of tastes. Gazpacho with octopuses. Perfect foie gras. Surprising desserts. Great wine list. Breathtaking moonrise view from the terrace. Reasonable prices for such a place. Last, but not least, the great service. #1 in my personal rating for 2016.

This restaurant looks like a gas station coffee shop until you go in. It is wildly popular and for good reason. They make everything fresh, including their own pizza, but it is a lot more than a pizzeria. They have very elegant dishes that are lovingly prepared and presented. The aperitif snacks were inventive, fresh and delicious. I had tagliatelle with seafood. All the seafood was fresh--mussels, clams, a little octopus and shrimp. The pasta was made form scratch on site and was fabulous. My husband had the polpo (octopus) salad which was perfectly prepared fish and loads of freshly sauteed vegetables. He said it was the best he had on this trip and this is his favorite dish. This is a family owned restaurant with many regulars, dinner absolutely needs a reservation, even though the room is quite large. On Sunday evenings, they only serve pizza and they choose all the ingredients, including the flour for what I am told is the best of the best. You need to have a car to get here, but it is well worth the trip. If you are going to Imperia, you should make a point to stop at this fabulous place just above the town.
