We are a family winery of DO Somontano that a year ago we expanded our offer of wine tourism with the opening of a restaurant in the winery itself. We have a menu of ⬠25.50 with an offer of dishes made from ingredients and products of the area with a tou
Alodia is a little wine-cellar in Somontano region (near Barbastro, in Huesca), which has amazing wines produced with local grapes. We came here, because we like very much the only wine we had tasted of this cellar: Parraleta (the name of a local grape with a very low production, which we drank in the restaurant Tatau Bistró in Huesca). Also, in the wine-cellar there is a fantastic restaurant, where you can taste a very good menu and some wines of the cellar. I tasted salmorrejo (a typical Aragonese soup with meat and cured sausages, not to be confused with the Andalusian salmorejo), meatballs of Aragonese Ternasco (a typical meat of Aragon) and apple pie with ice-cream, which were very good. Moreover we tasted a red wine of the cellar called Orache (the lowest quality in the cellar), which was normal. The owners, a couple, who loved very much the wine, were very friendly and explained us a lot of things, thank you very much! In fact, the fully experience: visit the wine-cellar, eat in the restaurant and speak with the owners, was fantastic. (See also Bodegas Alodia)Thank you very much! We also enjoyed a lot with your visit. We are pleased that yoy have enjoy tasting our wines. Best regards. We hope hearing from you soon

This restaurant is on the street with several other restaurants all offering almost identical menus at the same price. There is very little choice in Alquézar and no food shops except the bakeries. We chose this restaurant based on reviews and that it had the Menu del DÃa on offer in the evening at 15 Euros including drinks. Most of the other restaurants in the row offered a little less in the evening. It was a chilly evening, so we sat inside. The food was quite good, particularly the mushroom risotto which was very tasty. It is a great shame that four times during our meal, our enjoyment was spoiled by a strong smell of cigarette smoke which seemed to be coming from the kitchen upstairs. On the second occasion we complained to the staff but it didn't stop. On the third occasion, I went upstairs to complain and a waiter who misunderstood that I was complaining actually offered me a cigarette! There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the kitchen area but the staff all denied that any smoking was going on. They said that the smell was coming from people dining outside. On leaving the restaurant we saw two members of the kitchen staff sitting on the steps outside the kitchen door smoking. Whether all the smoking was done outside or inside doesn't make much difference if the kitchen door is open at the time!

The restaurant 'Casa Gervasio'hasn't changed its working philosophy for the last 30 years, where the proprietor is the genius and figurehead and also the person in charge of ensuring that changes in technology in the kitchens don't influence the results,
Really nice place to eat, if weather is nice you can eat in outside terrasse which is soo beautiful! You'll like it!Traditional cuisine

We had patatas bravas and a couple of tostadas. The potatoes (4â¬) were good and the ration pretty big. My tostada (chicken + roquefort) was a bit of a letdown. The chicken was fine but the roquefort was more like crème fraîche with a tiny touch of blue cheese than anything else. For 9⬠or 10⬠I would have liked the real deal.I might go back but would try something else.

Maybe it's just the end of the tourist season, but staff were offhand from the outset. I ordered an entrecote steak for which there was a 7euro surcharge, but when it arrived it was completely inedible - I could hardly cut it with a steak knife, let alone eat it.I complained, first to the waiter, then he brought out the manager, who then summoned the chef. The chef didn't speak much English in any case so it was all very silly, and I felt was designed to merely embarrass me in front of other diners. Eventually a replacement meal was served (lamb) which was fine, Then they had the audacity to still charge me the 7 euro steak supplement when the bill arrived. There are plenty of other restaurants in Alquezar, I suggest you choose one of them rather than risk having an embarrassing and expensive evening here.Gracias por su comentario

This restaurant has new managers and deserves to succeed. The food is excellent. The starters, in particular, are huge and beautifully prepared. The service is prompt and the staff are smiley and helpful.

Las Melias is a simple restaurant, with homemade cuisine based on traditional Aragonese style and with excellent views. It offers service of breakfast, lunch and dinner where the most important is the quantity-quality-price relation.
We arrived a bit early after a trekking day through the canyons and park Sierra Cuara. The waitress showed us the menu and we went for fresh salade with asparagus, tomatoes, paprika, unions, etc. perfect! 5/5 Paella with rabit, chicken, prawns, Gamba's, shell fish, etc. also delicious 5/5, and desert Tiramisu very nice 4/5. The service was more than good, what a pleasure to have the dinner here. 5/5 The meal was served with fresh home made baguette. 5/5 A hidden gem. We drank hot green tea and alcohol free beer San Miguel. 5/5 Price for all of those: euro 36 5/5 we were two persons. Free of charge strong and stable wifi! Be aware, normally you have to order Paella two hours in advance!

We decided to do a day of hiking in Alquévar, knowing that the sights would be amazing, but we were amazed by our experience here! The service was incredible (great recommendations, friendly, attentive, and funny). But the food was seriously exquisite! Every plate! We ate rice caldoso with rabbit and snails, a salad that was unlike any other I have ever had (fresh green mix with jamón and strawberries), and a cheese with foie and caramelized onion panacotta to die for (and that was just to start). Later we ate pork serloin (the texture was like butter), bull ragout with orange and ginger, and lamb . We were also lucky enough to try the osobuco.. by now we were in heaven. The desserts were absolutely spectacular (the brownie is a must)! We're now planning our return (perhaps not eating anything for a couple of days first)! Totally recommendable! Sorry for the lack of photos of the other food ;) it was just too good to stop and pull out our phones!Thank you very much for your comment, and thank you very much for enjoying our restaurant. It has been a great satisfaction, that you have chosen our restaurant in your visit to Alquezar. And our conversation. Highlight your kindness, education and great sense of humor. Thanks, again.

I give lots of 5 stars, so it is now hard to differentiate. My word.....This restaurant is in a a league of its own. Great food, incredible value and lovely service and ambience. Superb pink tomato/tuna/asparagus starter, sublime rabbit in almond sauce and Devine marscopone desert. Husband loved his lamb ribs. Wine (great local red) included in EU31 per head so The Bill was Eu 62 for two. One reviewer I read said they drove for 4 hours to eat here.....I now know why. Book so you are not disappointed and get there early to grab a good table. Enjoy
