Respecto al año pasado, ligera decepción. Notamos peor calidad. Las coquinas estaban llenas de tierra y los buñuelos de bacalao muy pasados. Volveremos para ver si fue mala noche o un cambio a peor.

Lunched twice here during a week long stay in the area. On our first visit we had a selection of tapas including king prawns, squid, meatballs(2 portions) potatoes, olives, bread, a beer and a glass of Rioja. The bill was an incredible â¬15 - incredible value. Virtually no English spoken here but English menu available. Staff very helpful and very welcoming. On second visit we had prawns (again), Iberian pork and morcilla (black pudding) - all absolutely fantastic.Recommend a visit.

We were surprised to be the only ones eating here at 7.30 on a Saturday evening, but then we're not Spanish! It was full every other time we were here and when we popped in for a beer. Some staff were very friendly and helpful - a couple were a bit sour but ok. English was not spoken by all staff, so there was a lot of pointing going on!We settled on the vegetarian platter to start which was excellent served with the trademark fresh bread rolls. My companion opted for the seabass while I had some hake. Both were served with potatoes and some little bits of pepper mixed in. Both were delicious and my companion finished off with a chocolate cake. We had an excellent bottle of local white wine and watched the sunset from the enclosed terrace. As we were the only customers it was difficult to comment on the atmosphere or service, but we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back again.Toilets were outside though - it is a chiringuito after all!

If you are looking for a place to enjoy some fresh offerings from the sea whilst doing a bit of people watching then this is the place. Situated in the heart of the busy food area you can order a selection of prawns, fish and other tasty tapas treats. Order from the bar and take a seat on the pavement to enjoy your meal. There are also plenty of good ice cream shops nearby to complete your evening.
Restaurant specialized in fish and seafood from the Costa de Huelva. Spacious indoor lounge and sunny outside terrace.
Buscábamos un sitio tranquilo, donde poder cenar relajados sin la urgencia de vaciar la mesa para atender a los siguientes. También buscábamos un sitio con una carta que fuera más allá de los fritos tÃpicos de la zona. Y acertamos! Carta variada, atención excelente y tranquilidad. El bacalao douro espectacular ! Para repetir !

Located in Punta UmbrÃa (HUELVA), Mariscos Carrillo is one of the best companies distributing and restoring products of the sea for its high quality.
I enjoyed here a great evening with friends during my September holiday. We had a huge cold plate of sea food to share (shrimps, crabs and prawns - specialty of the restaurant) and a hot plate of clams in garlic sauce - something everybody should taste while visiting Huelva coast, everything accompanied by white wine from Condado de Huelva. Great thanks to the waiters who attended us with a lot of care! Hope to come back next summer.

During our stay in Punta Umbria, we ate at El Velero on 3 of the 6 nights. We kept returning because the food was excellent - although the menu is fish like most of the other places in town, El Velero's was tastier and better presented. We especially liked the grilled calamare (a la plancha) which was tender and sweet. Service was friendly and prompt, even when the restaurant was crowded.

This restaurant is located near to the town centre where there are many eating places. My wife and I enjoyed dinner there on a Sunday evening. Didn't see any tourists in this busy restaurant which is probably a good sign. Good tasting prawns for starters and a lovely fish stew to follow. Has the feel,of a professionally run restaurant. Decent range of wines. Recommend

I actually went to this restaurant based on recent reviews which were mostly positive but also had a fair variance! We ordered mostly seafood. Not one dish stood out and even came up to scratch, not sure where the positive reviews came from but I was having trouble keeping the mouthful of tuna steak down that I attempted to consume. Worst meal I have had in a very long time including trains and aeroplane meals!

Took a day trip to this little beach town from Sevilla. I was determined to have great seafood on the water and this place did not disappoint. Clams are my favorite meal, and this place has multiple varieties that are served freshly sautéed in a pan with just garlic, parsley, and oil. The coquinas are the most tiny clams imaginable, the size of a fingernail, and they are so perfectly sweet. It was like heaven!
