Fresh, American style Tex-mex food. Quick service, affordable prices. Fooseball, darts, beers and booze! A great place to grab a burrito, tacos, rice bowl, salad or nachos! Also serving Costa Rican style bocadillos and healthy (or not!) acai bowls!
What a wonderful restaurant! It is clean and the service is amazing. Their burritos are delicious....we had chicken and pork and both loved our meals! Lots of options to make it your own. Would be great for lunch or dinner. Family friendly. They have dart boards and TVs. I highly recommend stopping here! We will definitley be back!

The new gastronomic niche that mixes the excellence of seafood and cocktails with a relaxed and classy atmosphere in the west of the capital. Porto 8 has a menu of around 40 dishes of high cuisine, an excellent service and, in addition, a space that allow

This a venezuelan concept merged with Costa Rican cousin, you can find the traditional arepas, patacones (from either sweet plantain or the green ones) as replacement of bread to create a tasty sandwich of shredded beef braised. The prices are just fair. It is not fancy. No the right place for your fist date. Good option if you wanna go with friends or family. It needs improvement on the rapidness to serve your order.

The menu and its variety is great! They have very nice service as well, respectful and attentive waiters; however, I find their prices a way too expensive. I would recommend this place to eat with family and friends, though. The place and decoration is very pretty.

This location is pretty convenient to get to from the Juan Santamaria Airport. With it taking close to 5 hours to get through customs, we were extremely hungry by the time we were leaving the airport. We found this delicious restaurant which was not a long drive from the airport rental car facility. This location does not have their own personal parking lot, therefore you have to look for street parking if you plan on driving to this location. We were fortunate to find plenty of street parking. Due to all of our personal belongings being in the car, I was a little paranoid about having the car parked on the street. There was a local neighborhood gentleman who assisted in finding and guiding the parrallel parking process. I tipped the gentleman before heading to the restaurant hoping he would watch my car, but also requested a tip after (I guess because all her stuff was still in the car). The area seemed fine and may have been worried for no reason.Although the food may not be authentic Costa Rican food, it was very delicious. It felt like the restuarant catered more towards foreigners then locals, but it seemed like there was a mix of both. We got an order of Fish Tacos and the Boss's Favorite - they both were very excellent and highly reccomended. The homemade hot sauce definitely provided a nice kick. The owner greeted us very warmly and told us his story on how he was inspired to open the restaurant, including sharing with us his recommendations. The food came out quick so it didn't take time a tremendous time away from our long drive ahead.I expect this will be on our agenda the next time we visit Costa Rica!

They were actually closed but still made us an order to go! Great service and absolutely amazing food! The nicest, sweetest owner, and the nachos were life changing. Weâll definitely be back next time weâre here!

I was first recommended to this restaurant by a local colleague. A group of four of us went there for a causal dinner. Great roasted chicken combos with juicy chicken breast and drums at affordable prices. It was in the middle of a triangle intersection of roads so it could be easily driven passed. Just remember to slow down when you get near and turn into their parking lot.

7 of us went after work. It's an open plan place covered but open to outside. There's horse saddles and other paraphernalia thrown about the place to make you feel....not sure what. All of us had a steak of some sort with the usual sides. The steak was a good cut and well cooked. There's nothing special to say about it though...no interesting sides or garnish or flavours so I guess its a good meat and two veg spot. Price came in at $30 a head (2 beers each) which seems ok until you realise that's about half a weeks wages for a factory worker. Go for a steak but not for a culinary experience.

Outstanding restaurant 15 mintues from Allejuah Costa Rica (San Jose Metro). Talked about in Marriott San Jose Forum.
We were greeted as we entered, and the amiable service continued throughout the meal. Tried a new shellfish, cuchibana, in ceviche, which was delicious. Mussels, sort of. Followed by sea bass covered with shellfish. All for $60.00 for two, including drinks. Pura vida.
