Reviews on Healthy food in San Sebastian - Donostia, Province of Guipuzcoa, Spain. While many visitors come for the beaches, arts celebrations and fiestas, San Sebastian-Donostia is serious about its food and drink. The Old Quarter’s narrow, winding streets are full of bars and restaurants, and in the modern city, sidewalk cafes are all around. The city specializes in seafood. Just make sure you know not to expect dinner at 6 or 7 p.m.—that’s much too early in Spain. Instead, tide yourself over with tapas, and enjoy eating and drinking late into the night.

It is unusual to find a high quality international restaurant in the Basque Country, where the local food is so good, but Punta Sal is really extraordinary! This is an authentic Peruvian restaurant, as good as you ca find anywhere in Europe and even in Peru itself.Enjoy the tiraditos, ceviches and anticuchos! To top it all, it is not expensive at all! And the service was excellent.

This is one of (if not THE) worst restaurants I've been to. It's a long time since I've had to get my own cutlery, bread, plate and salt and pepper myself and given the prices I didn't expect that. If you don't believe me, take a look at the photo I've added - I could make this better myself. Save yourself the walk uphill and go to one of the other fabulous veggie restaurants in San Sebastián.

Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch/Coffee/Dinner/Sangria/Mojitos/Gingtonics/Bakeryeggs, hamburgers and delicious bakery and Drinks!!A corner with charm in the old town!!!Specialty in breakfast with bacon and eggs
We have visited this place a couple of times already and we definitely loved the food and the attention of their friendly staff. If you are vegan/vegetarian/gluten intolerant or you are simply searching for a good meal in the Old Part of San Sebastian, Maiatza is definitely a must visit place. Quality price is also really well balanced. My personal favourite (as a vegan) is the Vegan Brunch and the Rice with vegetables.

Nothing fancy - not very touristy - simple and very very good sandwiches on wonderfully fresh bread. We had 4 huge Pinxos with tuna, crab, calamari and tortilla and the best Txakoli in San Sebastian. The bar staff was extremely friendly even though we are not fluent in Spanish at all and barely managed to say "Thank you" in Euskara. We paid under 11⬠for that wonderful afternoon snack and returned the next day for a late breakfast.Very good to settle your hungry stomache before entering the more expensive venues in San Sebastians old town. Thanks for your review!! We are very happy to read your words. We try very hard to give our best for reasonable prices. Hope to have you back again!! Regards!

Café vegetariano frente a la playa de la Zurriola. Comida sana, colorida y alegre.
Mapa Verde is a very small lunch restaurant/café. Thereâs maybe room for 10-15 inside but thereâs additional seating outdoors âon the curbâ. Ideally located in a more quite part of the Beach where you might also be more likely to find parking If youâre driving there. Salads. Bowls. Guac. Some deserts. All very Fresh and tasty. I would recommend the Lentil bowl with a nice acidic beetroot sauce and sweet potato. Yum!!

A small and excellent pintxos bar with great food, superb coffee and friendly guys running it. There is also a tiny sit-down restaurant downstairs that opens for dinner at 8.30pm that we thought was exceptional. It has a loyal local following, great food and visitors are made very welcome.

We hosted our wedding reception dinner at Misura and enjoyed the chef's recommended tasting menu for our group. Everything was beautifully presented, and meticulously executed. The restaurant prides itself on using local and organic products native to the region, thereby ensuring only the freshest items of the season are used. The dishes are flavourful, thoughtful, and easily one of the best meals we've ever had. Make sure to try the 62-degree egg and cod and the tarte tatin. What a delight! Everyone was raving about the culinary experience they had that night- not to mention, the attentiveness of the staff, and warmth of the environment. Everything was perfect! We will definitely come back to Misura and Arima again for our vow renewals!!! :) Thank you again for everything!

Organic food.We have vegan dishes, fish, organic wine and instead find organic meat. Healthy and tasty food. Nice place. Personal attention. Affordable rates.
If you've had your fill of the excellent San Sebastian pinchos and the generally meaty restaurant dishes this is a delightful vegetarian alternative. Nothing flash or showy but a simple setting with a range of well crafted cuisine for lunch or dinner.Hi. Thank you very much for your hands. I would like to clarify that we are not a vegetarian restaurant, but a restaurant with organic ingredients. We have vegetarian dishes, fish, smoked fish and a meat dish. Thanks again.
